When I was a teenager I worked at a restaurant that had a really delicious low calorie cabbage soup on the menu. I could eat that for maybe a week or so, but I'd also have to spend the entire week in the bathroom.

    A week in the bathroom?

    For a teenager.... that's a win.

Not if it's spent on the toilet.

I've never tried the cabbage soup as a diet, but I do LOVE making the soup. I find that it's something that helps me to cut calories out while still stay full so I can afford myself more calories for dinner or a snack. One week, I made the soup because I wanted to make and devour these peanut butter bars so every day I'd have the soup (which I add tomatoes and a few extras to so it's about 110kcal per bowl) and then I could a peanut butter bar (300kcal) plus something else and have a satisfying lunch without overusing lunch calories.

Not sure if that's helpful. I'm really not a fan of crash diets, it's not going to last so why make yourself miserable?
