Research before i start meal prepping. Not sure how many calories i'm suppose to consume a day.
If this helps: 150lbs. Goals is 140. Weight lift 2-3 times a week. Rest one day and other days cardio.
Appreciate it! (:

Your headline references protein, your content references calories, so I am not sure if you want one, the other, or both.
One broadly accepted rule of thumb for protein is .08 g per lb of bodyweight or 1 g per lean bodyweight lb, so you will be somewhere above 100 g per day (if you earn back calories, don't worry about hitting the higher protein amount, just hit your minimum each day).
For calories you should use MFP to figure the rate at which you want to lose, but honestly, you probably should just eat at maintenance or just slightly under and focus on a recomp because you are so close, if you have fat you want to lose. At most, set it to losing .5 lbs a week. I've been recomping for half a year and have been losing pants sizes while the scale stays in the same range.1 -
easy answer: 120 grams of protein. More is fine. A little less is fine.1
