Green Eggs and Ham, years ago, because books are for nerds! jk.
I'm slowly trudging along the Wheel of Time series when I should be doing more professional reading.

Reading "Lincoln in the Bardo" by George Saunders. I often read while on the elipse cranking out my cardio. Helps the time fly by.

Speaking of time, I also read The Wheel of Time series. Nice choice, Cptbklee. Those books kept me immersed for hours and hours.

I’m currently reading two books;I'm going back and forth between the two. Book one is “Tonight I Said Goodbye” by Michael Koryta. It’s a mystery novel set here in the Cleveland area so I couldn’t resist. I’m also re-reading “The Tao Te Ching” by Laozi.

The Libertarian Reader by David Boaz. I've always leaned libertarian but the last election turned me into a card carrying, Kool-Aid drinking proselytizer...

@Motorsheen I may have to read RETRIBUTION. My kind of history book. I have three relatives who were in the Navy and fought at Okinawa, including one who survived a direct hit by a Kamikazie into the ship he was on.

I also have a son who was deployed to Okinawa and the main island of Japan with the USMC. The end of the Pacific War is an interesting place and time in history.

Do yourself a favor and read Hastings' : armageddon / Germany '44-45'

It's the best account of the war I've ever read in regards to the European theatre of World War 2.

Also.... Goodbye Darkness by William Manchester is nails.

    Okay.... go ahead, sheesh.

Just remember, inStyle & Vogue aren't technically considered literature. ;)

Still working on Rant by Chuck Palahniuk.

I only ever read his Fight Club after seeing the film (hadn't heard of him prior to that) - what's Rant like?

My most recent book was The Charity Committee by Horace Silver (real name Jimmy Holmes) - it was banned for years because of legal action from the guy it featured in the book as being portrayed as no saint but finally a high court judge ruled against him because there was enough evidence to show he was a crime lord and the book has reappeared.

Nice article on SA's AR-15. Not dumping anything that I have currently to own it, but worth checking out if in the marketed. Love that it chambers 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem. I shoot .223 mostly. And a good value in a $850 price range rifle. Worth a read.
