That's why I had to switch to the tank style 2 piece. My torso is too long and it can get quite uncomfortable :P0 -
I wear a one piece.
Usually. ...1 -
I have a one piece for when I go to the gym to swim, or if I decide to ever attempt water skiing again at the lake. But I am hoping to stock up on some cute bikinis at the end of the summer (when they all go on sale) for my honeymoon in January!1

I can't unsee this. Thanks Megan!1 -

Ahh I honestly never even thought of a tank style but that makes sense.0 -
I just bought a fringed monokini from Amazon. Best of both worlds.

It would be an empty threat though...she knows I wouldn't wear that. I own a spedo though and she knows what I'm capable of...
I usually wear my jammers though when I'm actually swimming...board shorts for hanging out at the pool party.0 -
Question to all the women...if you have tummy stretch marks but you are in shape would you still wear a bikini?0
-
Swimsuits for actual swimming, bathing suits for lounging by the pool or on the beach.0

I thought the same.
I wear whatever looks best. It's hard to find properly fitting pieces..so as long as it fits well I don't care the style!

It would depend on how bad the stretch marks were for me personally. I was very lucky. Although I gained 60 lbs with my son and was all belly my only stretch marks are below bikini line.
Same here I gained 60 lbs with both my sons. Mine are mostly below the naval. A little above the naval but I am thinking a higher bikini bottom will help with that.1 -

I have dreams, I damn sure do.2 -
I worked hard for too many years to lose weight and maintain. So this year - - this 53 yo chick - is gonna rock a bikini!!! OK... but I'll wear a cover-up when I'm not laying/sitting around.7

Good for you!0 -
When I was younger I'd only wear a one piece swimsuit and always with an oversized t-shirt over it. When I was older because of a thyroid issue I gained weight, and once I lost the weight I learned to appreciate my body and now in my 40's I LOVE BIKINIS! I've become sort of a bikini addict and buy 3-4 new ones per year. I have to order them online from the U.K. because I'm top heavy and need a lot of support. Once I could find my actual size bikini tops, it made it so much easier to like how my body looked. My complaint about bikinis in the US is that there aren't enough sizing options for larger busts, I think that frustrates a lot of women and turns them off of the whole idea of wearing a bikini at all.2

Hopefully a bikini this year but I'm still uncomfortable with my stomach. I used to have a tiny American flag string bikini when I was 17 and I'm hoping I can rock the skimpy look but one piece for comfort and function. String bikinis don't keep the girls in and a beach wave almost took my bottoms too. I only have so many hands. I may opt for a high waist bikini if this stomach issue doesn't get worked out.1

rashguard and bikini bottom, though I'm probably biased against normal swimwear cause I surf6 -
Even at my skinniest I wore a vintage style swim dress.0
