Does anybody feel like eating more when eating a burger bun with high fructose corn syrup?

Nope. Two identical foods one with HFCS and one without are going to fill me up the same.
I'm thinking this is more a mental issue for you and how you perceive foods.15 -
I...no. Just no. I don't.4

We don't have bread made with hfcs. But if I eat honey or jam on bread I don't feel like eating more. Maybe because it's delicious... But not because of the fructose in honey or jam.4

Nope. Never eat burger buns with or without filling.
( I do eat salads and sandwiches but not burgers - they are too hard to get your mouth around and too messy.
Nothing to do with evil HFCs )

How much cake did he put in the bun, that's the real question.11

I, again, just do not understand how an acknowledged, repeat offender Troll gets allowed to Troll post after post after post when the Community Guidelines clearly and in no uncertain terms specify No Trolling.7

Where do you live because most places serving burgers have hfcs baked into the bun.
Australia. We don't have hfcs in much, not that it would matter if we did.
Buy better bread.2 -

I live in america, so thats how you escape hfcs. But i have to say that the burgers here have hfcs on it from fast food. I usually have a chance of buying whole wheat buns but its hard to find burger buns to make burgers at home especially the white flour buns without having to pay a lot of money for buns without hfcs. And having the white flour version tastes better so i dont have to add fatty condiments to bring the taste up. Because whole wheat buns can kinda taste dull sometimes imo.
So you have a couple of choices if you want to avoid it.
Don't buy fast food
Pay for buns without. If you care so much, money is no object.
Buy whole wheat buns and learn to like them. Personally, what I put in my burger makes it taste good, not the bun.
Stop telling yourself it effects you.7 -

Sugar is no different than hfcs2 -
Yes I do in fact feel like eating more.2

I can't imagine that the difference between a bit of HFCS (55% fructose) vs. sugar (50% fructose) in a bun makes a difference in the satiety of a hamburger. When I make a burger at home I usually don't have a bun, as I prefer to have just one starch course in a meal and like to have roasted potatoes, but when I feel like it I do and tend to choose a low cal/whole wheat bun. You can make your own if it makes that much difference or get Ezekiel or go to a nice or health-food-focused bakery. All that aside, I did a quick look at my local (chain) grocery's delivery service and one of the first options I pulled up (one I use occasionally because it's whole wheat and only 80 cals, but they have a similar white version, I think), had sugar, not HFCS. (Not that I believe it really makes a difference -- I think this is a good topic for a blind test.)
Anyway, my local grocery is in Illinois, which last I checked was part of the US.3 -
