Whatever you do, don't try to go low fat as well. You can't do low carb AND low fat...you will be perpetually hungry.
Enjoy cream in your coffee, full fat dairy, all your favorite cheeses, and nuts, fatty meats, and anything else you like. If you want to eat fruit, berries are surprisingly low in carbs and a great choice. If you're looking for a low carb sweet treat, high cacao content dark chocolate (75%, 85%, etc.) has very little sugar and will fit in most low carb diets.
The group TeaBea linked you to is a great one. Lots of great people with advice on all low carb diets...everything from the higher end (150ish carbs per day) to keto. Definitely join that group.
I am a firm believer in low carb...it is the only diet that has ever worked long term for me because it is easier to stick to and reduces a lot of the sugar cravings I used to get.3 -

Cold turkey, while 20g carb daily is a nice goal, it is unrealistic.
You do need some carbs; even on a keto / paleo diet.
See this website:
http://www.livestrong.com/article/230239-60-gram-carb-diet/
I am on 1400 calories a day (women should not go below 1200 calories) with 15% carbs/sugar (53 grams); 40% fat (62 grams); 45% protein (158 grams). Check your macros (under goals).
I have lost 23 lbs since January.
To be sustainable you have to be able to eat to feel full and satiated. (Like others have said don't ignore fat.)
I would try to "glide" into extremely low carb - lessen them slowly if you find that you need to.
Make sure you drink plenty of water and keep your electrolytes balanced.
Are you following Paleo Tribe or Paleo Leap? They have some good recipes that are low calorie as well as low carb.
Try to have a blended veggie meal regularly during the week (I blend parsley, carrots, celery, cucumbers, peppers and sometimes onion or garlic and add lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. I make enough to last me all week. This keeps the "high protein" from making me constipated or have GERD.) I have this with 160 grams of Greek full fat yogurt with 1 TBSP coconut flakes.
