Hey there maintenance friends old and new!!! This thread is a continuation from the previous month. The aim of this thread is to have a weekly weigh-in check for some accountability or support.

Success/struggles of the week: I have set a "goal" of 115 -- not there yet, but this morning I hit 120.9 and I think that while I'm still trying to lose five more pounds, for a cushion, I am pretty much where I want to be. This feels amazing!!

I've lost the birthday bloat! Today's weigh in was actually the lowest I've had in 2 months. The mirror has been telling me that I've lost a little bit, despite the scales, so now we know. My plan is to keep it tight for the next 4 weeks, hopefully to give myself a little latitude for our big trip in June.

Now that I'm home I couldn't resist jumping on the scale. Even though I still have a lot of bloatedness, and my doctor says that it'll take a couple of weeks more for the retaining water go, I'm within my range. So YAAAAY!
It my mum's birthday today so I'm planning to have a huge slice of cake!!!
Thankyou all so much (from previous thread) for you best wishes. It was very uplifting and kept me thinking positively.
Also, on Thursday I am celebrating my 1st year of maintenance and also 2 years of logging on to MFP.
It's a huge fitvessary for me!7 -

Success/struggles of the week: I decided to go ahead and drop my maintenance range from 128 +/- 2 to 126 +/- 2 so my range will be 124 - 128. I think this weight is good for me and I think I am maintaining here. I guess we will see. I have been consistently coming in under my previous range last month so I thought I would see how it goes this month.7 -

Success/struggles of the week: It's been a while since I've checked in, but I haven't had anything new/noteworthy to report. Anyways, I have survived finals and all the stress that comes with them, and I'm maintaining fine, but I'm bored with my fitness routine now. I want to try something new. I'll be browsing Google and the message boards for ideas.3 -

Averaged 114-115 January to April.
May 3: 116 (wth? gained 2# this week!)
Success/struggle: Well, obviously a struggle since I gained 2# in a week. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Still underweight, just don't want to gain 2#/week.3 -
hope ya'll don't mind me peeking in. I have 15more lbs to go, but I did take a break & maintained my 39lb lose for 2 months without a problem, back at it now & lost 1 more lb. You're all doing great. Hope to be on here soon10

How I lost it: My story
How long in maintenance : I declared it at 140 in January 2016, but that was too high for a petite lady. Redeclared it 4/14/17.
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 125 at morning weigh-in.
Ongoing struggle: I still need to learn to trust my body cues, be content with eating just enough, and stop asking food to be more than just fuel. Life after work is just filled with getting steps and eating food to fill my evening. Really need to make peace with having fewer cals to work with. Contentment and an attitude of gratitude (and maybe a hobby) are the order of the day.

Success of the week: Made some decent food choices, like getting yogurt at a grocery store instead of going to a restaurant
Challenges of the week: Looking back, I now realize that my meteoric rising weight this month was more than just glycogen, but due to having more variables than I realized (bad diary entries, unknown Fitbit burn accuracy, water retaining tea, etc) I can't definitively point to the culprit. So I am going to hit reset and clean up my data sources, then try again.

Success/struggles of the week: Urgh. I missed one of my workouts this week, due to the Bank Holiday Monday, but I can't blame that for the rise in this week's weight - I know I loosened my grip on my snacking this week..... and it appears it hasn't worked out well!!! I've been 142lbs for the last 3 consecutive days now, so I know it's not just a temporary fluctuation (it's rare for me to be exactly the same weight 2 days on the trot even!). So - it's 'Action Stations' for me - I'm going to rein it in, lower my intake for a little while and try to get towards the middle/lower end of my happy weight range while I'm at it. I'm not going to rush back into logging all my calories just yet - I need to see if I can do this intuitively - but I am going to have to watch out for that snacking monster if this 'not logging' business is going to work for me.

Successes: Continuing with a slight downward trend. Got a couple of paddles in this week in prep for my race tomorrow. Work is lightening up for the month, so hopefully that means I can workout a bit more.
Challenges: Still struggling to get enough protein and fiber for my goals. Need to balance my macros better. Need some more gym/strength training time.2 -
I forgot to say, I think I found a hobby that also ties in to my work at school: trying to learn sign language.4

All in all, while on vacay I think I did pretty dang good. I have another vacation to Hawaii coming up in about 6 weeks, so I'm focusing on prepping for that!4 -

Success/struggles of the week: About a pound of that weight loss is water weight from starting blood pressure medication, but another pound is from diet and exercise. I am happy with how my body looks and feels, but I'm going to see if my blood pressure is happier with a lower weight. So I am going to head over to one of the loss check-in threads for a couple months.3 -
