    Successes - I hit the gym 4 times this week and got some great burns.

    Successes / struggles this week: Weight up and down by a pound a few times this week even though I didn't do anything differently. Progress seems to be slowing. Glad it landed on the downside for weigh in. Good luck everyone.

    Successes / struggles this week: I found some meals I liked that didn't feel depriving. Hard to only eat 1 slice of pizza one night when my kids had it (but I did it).

    Successes / struggles this week: My successes and struggles are the same... I started this journey with a 5 Day Cleanse (vegan whole food, eating every 2 hours, juicing etc). I repeated Day 1 twice as I derailed... but I got focused with photos of myself pinned to my bathroom wall of when I was last near my goal weight. I got focused prepping tomorrow's meals every evening with my masticating juicer (holds nutrients 72 hours) or reading my blender for processing. I stayed focused by marking my 4 liter water jug every 500ml to track daily water consumption and I'm achieving all 4 liters! I'm staying focused on why I'm doing this so when I feel the need to cheat, I eat something that was already in my cleanse plan legally (e.g. More avocado or veggie broth). I got focused restarting my Misfit Step Counter and began using My Fitness Pal. I realize that a chunk of my 6.0lb loss is water, but I'm super happy for the detox and getting started with a bang -- I'll take the water loss and be grateful! Key lessons for me: In my life I tend to accomplish that which I focus on. Weight loss and fitness should be no different.

    Successes / struggles this week: I joined the Y so I can attend classes to up my cardio and find interesting ways to stay active. I focused on staying away from carbs because I blow up quickly on carbs. I also kept protein shakes at hand so I didn't skip breakfast or lunch. I'm really happy to see progress and can't wait to continue this momentum into the next week.

    Successes / struggles this week: My week started with inexplicable gain (gained more on Monday while under my goal than I did on the weekend of drinking leading up to the start of this month). I think I settled on the explanation that the weekend left me dehydrated, and rehydration showed the true extent of the weekend damage. Again yesterday under the goal, but up a pound this morning... Still, 2.2 for the week is on track for my calorie goal overall.
