20-Day Sugar Free Challenge!

Today is my Day 7 sugar free. Day 6 went really well. I did a high class intensity workout in the a.m. and had no big cravings throughout the day. My energy was stable through bedtime. I did enjoy a one light beer on the patio. But it didn't lead to over-consuming anything, yay! (Which is how I gain. It's not the carbs and sugar themselves but the overconsumption. There was some confusion a previous poster had over my understanding of this!). How's everyone else doing?0

Hi@bonbon1985. Join tomorrow! Make it your Day 1. We are here aiming for 20 consecutive days in May, and a place to check in to help stick with it. Have you gone sugar-free before?
This is my Day 10. So far so good...0 -
Day 11 sugar free and my energy is amazing. Stable all day. I squeezed in a morning cardio/strength session before work and the dogs and baby convinced me to go for a walk before dinner (the baby crawled into the carriage with he leashes and yelled for the dogs!). I was tired but couldn't refuse! Feeling good.0

I had a little bit of cake yesterday but today I did good so I'll call it day one!0

I will join! Day 1 Friday May 120

I'm on day 8 but have done this before. I find when I have cravings a handful of blueberries work really well. A little sweetness but not like eating sweeter fruit.0

@marieschneider1097 how's the shred going? I got inspired and fit two JM workouts in when I couldn't make the gym.
@sjkrbp - awesome! Happy day 2.
@gt0186b - mmm blueberries...

Day 13 and WOW. Feeling great. Protein meals are just my habit these past couple of days and I've had zero sugar cravings. Body combat class his morning after my yogilates and my energy is still ok. How's everyone doing today?0
-
Can I still join? Looking forward to doing it tomorrow after two days of extreme sugar and desserts!0
-
@starsandshxt Yes! Please join! 20 sugar free days is awesome and here's why: a month feels like a punishment but 20 days is long enough to really feel a sugar free system. I want to try doing this every month0
-
I know I am addicted to sugar and both look forward to and dread joining you all for 20 days! I`ve never been this heavy before and I`m concerned for my health. I look forward to how I`ll feel next week. I`ve kicked sugar entirely once before and remember how incredible it felt.0
-
@MammaDoriana You will feel great! The first few days are the hardest, right?0
-
Day 14 and very tired today. Maybe because I had a couple of drinks both Friday and Saturday. Still off the added sugar but this week through Friday I'll aim to cut out the booze along with it. My energy was seriously so much better Thursday and Friday but it will come back!0
-
I'd like to join in! Completely addicted to sugar so it's not going to be easy. Thought it might help to follow along with this group - might make me accountable! Day 1 tomorrow :-)0
-
@loudart2015 Hi! Let us know how your first day goes. It's hard and I feel like a crazy person the first couple days coming off sugar but it's so worth it!0
-
I messed up. Whole grain cereal. Damnit. I wish I weren't so sensitive to sugar but even Barbara's puffins messed me up! So I'm not starting over but today is day 15 *mostly* off sugar and nobody's perfect!
@marieschneider1097 how's your shred going? I die my 4th JM workout in 5 days thank you!!!0 -
-
@wellnesschaser have you tried fit tea I bought it today!!0
-
@marieschneider1097 I will try it. Your pics are amazing!0
-
Day 17! Enjoying a nice easy freedom from sugar cravings. Avoided ice cream and some cake in the past few days with no trouble.0
