Hi everyone, I am seeking some advice here:
I am going to a fair with some friends on Saturday. Since I will be there all day... any suggestions on being able to stay within my 1500 calories?? I know it will be hard and I know there aren't any healthy options at the fair.

Eat healthy food before you go so you aren't starving. Also, you don't need to eat everything. Pick one treat and enjoy. You will be walking a lot, so that helps.0

Throw some healthy snacks in your purse, and eat the bad stuff in moderation.0

This. Recognize that it's one day and won't ruin everything.0 -
Why? It's the fair. Eat yummy fair food.
Exercise every day and enjoy yourself this one day. I can't get the kind of food I like from the fair pretty much anywhere any other time of year. So I enjoy it.0 -
Good luck. That's all I have to say to that.0

If there are funnel cakes, run!
Run up and get me one, but dont eat any.0 -
I would take some healthy snacks with you or suggest a picnic.
Don't feel pressured to eat doughnuts, burgers, hot dogs, chips or any other naughty things they have there.0 -
You will not regret eating fried oreos...0

I agree with the first response.
Eat before you go, walk all day long,
and indulge in one treat while you're there.
Enjoy!0 -

And they actually aren't that horrible -- like 90-110 calories for one.0 -
i would personally indulge in all the goodies and not worry about it for the day. the fair is a special occasion for me to get treats i normally cant find or am unwilling to make myself. one day isnt gonna kill my progress.0
