I stir it into mashed potatoes before I mash to give that nice cheesy flavour3
-
I sprinkle it on my egg before I microwave it and I've heard it's good on popcorn.1
-
I use it to make faux cheese sauces or sprinkle it on pasta.2
-
I add it to my popcorn. Or vegetables, or really anything, it's good.2

I use it on everything, popcorn, mashed potatoes, vegan cheese...1
-
I put it into broth based soups to make them taste thicker and creamier.3

Thanks for your input! Much appreciated:)0

I sprinkle it on popcorn or fried eggs, and I make a bouillon mix that contains it primarily nutritional yeast along with some herbs and spices.0

It's also good on popcorn with a Tbsp of grapeseed oil instead of butter for anyone who needs to watch their intake if saturated fats for health reasons, as I do.1
-
I love it on popcorn too, with a little butter and gateway to the north seasoning from the spice house.1
-
It's nice sprinkled on veggies before roasting.1

Sprinkled on many of my kale and romaine salads.

Where do you find it? Do most grocery stores carry it? Where is it usually stocked?0

Most grocery stores (at least where I've lived) do not carry it. I buy mine at Whole Foods. It's in the nutritional supplement section, sometimes in the bulk bins.0 -

I buy mine online at Vitacost.com0 -
I make vegan pasta sauce for my boyfriend, vegan lasagna, put it on popcorn, on top of Chilli.. make faux Parmesan. I try not to add it to everything though cause it is high in calories and sooo tasty so hard to just have a little haha2

My local Kroger carries it. It is in the healthy foods section.0 -
I put it in my cottage cheese sometimes, and even have put it in my PB2-based pseudo-Asian peanut sauce for veggies if I need extra protein, or in soup (at the end).
I don't think it really tastes like Doritos, but I thought this mix for popcorn was pretty tasty:

I don't, but this is still great to know. Thanks for posting!
(Sometimes I want to use less butter for calorie reasons, and I bet everybody else too!)0 -
POPCORN!!! With butter and other seasonings. Then the leftover engevita that sits on the bottom of the bowl. I eat that too Nothing. Left.
As a kid, I use to just eat a couple spoon fulls, lol.1 -
FYI... bought some the other day @ Whole Foods. The bin type doesn't weigh enough to register on the scale! So I bought Bragg's in the plastic container. It tastes like chicken. I remember it tasting like cheese, so I'm kinda re-thinking adding it to my popcorn0

Popcorn: olive oil, soy sauce and nutritional yeast
Toast: toasted bread, olive oil, nutritional yeast (and raw garlic if you like garlic )
These are literally two of my favorite foods in the whole world. Love love love nutritional yeast, my mom always made these for me when I was a kid, I like NY before it was cool2 -
I can't eat dairy so I use it to make a fake cheese sauce and I'll sometimes sprinkle it on spaghetti or something.0
-
I LOVE it sprinkled on a salad, popcorn, and mixed with laughing cow cheese and shirataki macaroni noodles.0

Check the spices/herbs/seasonings shelf too. I'm sure I've seen nut. yeast at Walmart.
I dump it on grilled tempeh. If it wasn't loaded with b-vitamins I probably wouldn't eat it though.

I use it in my vegan mac-and-cheese recipe (I'm not vegan, but try to avoid dairy), on homemade kale chips, on eggs... anything! SO good!0

I love nooch! I use it all the time in faux cheese sauce for vegan mac n' cheese or chili mac, tofu ricotta for lasagne, tofu scrambles!, popcorn, sprinkle on toast with olive oil or peanut butter, also really good sprinkled on avocado toast, added to soft polenta, I also use it in homemade seitan. I am so glad I can buy it in bulk.1

I am a vegetarian, but I like using nooch to add a cheesy flavor when I make vegan or dairy-free dishes -- like vegan mac n cheese or alfredo. I also use it as a general seasoning in almost everything --from popcorn to vegetarian meat substitutes to roasted broccoli. My mom would add it to her cornbread and it made it SO delicious -- it just added a general good flavor. I'm not sure how much she would add because she's a typical old-fashioned southern cook that doesn't measure anything unless she's baking a cake. lol.1
