Weird question but do you wash your hair after exercise?

I shampoo once a week. I workout six days a week. Monday-Friday running 2-3 miles per day, M-T-Th-F-Sat crossfit. I also hike, ride horses, many other outdoor activities. I rinse my hair after every workout. Sometimes this means twice a day. Rinsing it thoroughly with warm/hot water does plenty. If it's really tangled I'll put some moisturizing treatment on it and comb through it. My hair is healthier and longer than ever and sometimes on day 6 it looks a little sketchy but there have been many times I've gone as long as 10 days. I don't use dry shampoo because if you slowly extend how long you go between washes your scalp health improves and you do not continue to produce as much oil.

No, dry shampoo is the greatest. I wash my hair every 2 to 3 days.

I was as little as possible, probably twice a week max. It's bra strap length. I have a bit of curl and wave so it's quite forgiving. Also yes to dry shampoo.

Y'all make me want to go get my hair done XD.

To answer OP, though - I wash my hair about every other day, sometimes every third day if I took a rest day and didn't get sweaty. I always let my hair air dry (I shower before bed and go to sleep with wet hair), whether I shampoo'd or just rinsed with water after a workout. My hair always gets drenched after a run, so I take it down and let it air dry as soon as possible if I'm wearing a pony or unbraid it as soon as I get home. I can't stand having wet, sweaty hair tied up or in a braid, but it doesn't bother me once it's dried.

I wash my hair pretty much everyday. I can't do dry shampoo. Even the ones for "dark hair" with colored powder make my roots look weird and lighter than the rest.

I washed it every day for years, but now I'll often skip a day. It probably works out to getting washed 3-4x/wk. I almost always wash it after I run though. Dry shampoo works so-so for me but like a pp mentioned, I do feel like by the end of the day, sometimes my hair looks a little greasy/off.

I wash my hair twice a week with shampoo, tie it up on other workout days. My hairdresser advised that I could condition it every day if need be, but to only use shampoo once/twice a week.
