    Tried to join the group but I didn't get a response. I'm just learning what I can and can't eat.. if calories are important or I should just pay attention to fat/ low carbs...

    @suestack23 there are many ways and reasons to eat a Keto diet. My main goal was pain management and I was very sick so I just cut out all foods that had added sugars and/or any form of any type of grain and keeps total carbs just under 50 grams daily. In my case I eat basically no processed foods.

    Things can get strange the first 6-12 months I found in my case. I am coming up on three years of living in nutritional ketosis most of the time. Pain is well managed and my annual health markers are improving.

    Best of success regardless which track you take.
