Homemade strawberry poppyseed salad 400 cals. My 6+ lb veggie protein salad for my first meal at almost 7pm. Exactly 400 cals and macros posted!
Sooooo many ingredients/ high volume lol!!

Huge respect haha that's epic ! I loveeee big evening meals as well - IF for the win. I'm trying to figure out what's in the salad to replicate it on a smaller scale x)

I’m definitely loving my protein fluff! I had enough calories to add a broken up ice cream cone and my super fancy sprinkles

    That. Looks. Awesome.

Your photo of your fluff with the waffle topping definitely played a part in inspiring this delicious creation!

    lol, I second that!
What kind of wrap? I cannot find wraps under 200 cal., and what is the powdery looking stuff on your salad? Is it garlic powder?
    looks delicious!

google says the only place within 50 miles of me that has that Tumaros business is the AFB commissary. Going in search of a pilot to take me shopping.

The one thing I hate is how expensive they are! (3.69 for 4 wraps) I've tried ordering in bulk online, but they are even more expensive everywhere I've found. Online and most stores carry the smaller wraps which are 50-60 calories, but I prefer the nice giant ones because they are bigger and have better flavors, lol.

I like these too even though they aren't as big. I also like la tortilla factory, but again they aren't as big or as delicious. Still good though. 90cal flatouts are also great like @crazyravr mentioned. I used to use those for awhile but switched since these are so much bigger lol.

It is times like these that make me sad I live in Victoria. We only have one store that sells one kind of Flatout wrap... and boy are they expensive ($4 for 6). We generally don't get cool food stuffs here and when we do they cost more.

    HOW?!

Tumaros 10in pumpernickel wraps 80 cal they are my FAVORITE ! Highly recommend. They come in sourdough, rye, and everything bagel flavor. All are fantastic!

    Wrap (80+ 45 turkey + 10 lettuce + 5 spicy mustard + 5 tomato + 5 onion plus I add Italian seasoning)

Salad (romaine lettuce 15, one tbsp balsamic 10, chipotle tobacco sauce, a sprinkle of trivia, no salt salt, lots of onion powder. This was before I mixed it up but there is tomato onion and banana peppers under there too 5)

Google says I can find these wraps 6 miles from my house :). I am really excited to try these! Thanks.

    Online. Always online.

Any website you can recommend? As an example Amazon doesn't ship them to Canada (which is fine as I try to not shop with them) and lowcarbcanada has them for 3.99 so I'm not really saving any money but they have a bigger variaty.

I bulk my oatmeal with wheat bran every morning!!! It adds fibre and makes it way bigger. Also can add egg whites and protein powder and stick it in the microwave to watch it grow. Others have added zucchini for bulk too!!

I cannot find the pumpernickel wraps online and they are not available anywhere near me. I live in hickville. If anyone finds the pumpernickel online, please let me know. The Tumaros website doesn't even sell them. Maine has such poor availability on good food!

I also do the microwave trick. You microwave in huge bowl with lots of extra water for like 5 min then cool then 3 min and it puffs up like 10x the size. I’ll have to take a pic next time. 100 cal packs end up huge.

I will but I’ve looked for years because wanted to buy in bulk and freeze (they freeze great) but could only find at foodservicedirect and open sky where the shipping made it more expensive than to buy in store. I really wish the company would sell the 10inch ones on more websites and amazon. It seems like the smaller ones are more popular which makes no sense to me.

What makes it increase in size so much? Is it the wheat bran, the egg whites, the protein powder or what? Also, how much do you add?

I personally add 10 grams of wheat bran!! And 25 grams of protein powder, 5 grams chia seeds and 10 grams of flax seeds (not necessary, but I am increasing calories)

    Here's my recipe for oats:

1 pkg instant oatmeal microwave for 2 min at 50 percent heat (level 5 out of 10 on my microwave) with 1.5 cups of water, then I add dry ingredients of 25 g protein powder, 10 grams of wheat bran, and 5 grams chia seeds and 10 grams flax seeds. Mix together and it will thicken, and add a lot of cinnamon on top!!bjuciyjslj4j.jpg

    I love volume eating.

Dinner last night was a green salad with tomatoes on top seasoned with salt and pepper, chipotle mango seasoning, no dressing (1/3 of my plate), a rice paper wrap filled with greens and a third of a can of tuna mixed with a little sesame oil, mayo, and siracha plus salt and pepper and some finely diced onion, carrot, green onion strips with some cucumber rounds and zucchini rounds (1/3rd of my plate) my play on a spicy tuna roll and finally a side of macaroni salad with chopped veggies (carrots/onions/etc) and a boiled egg mixed in with minimal mayo.

I stalk this thread a lot. I would like to suggest a new name. Maybe not volume eaters thread, but: The way we should eat with occasional highly dense food and we might not have an obesity epidemic in America thread? Any thoughts?

    Could that be anymore wordy?

Didn’t get pix, but tonight was a HUGE sweet potato baked, with rice & bean with a kale pesto mixed in. Super filling. For dessert, I just tossed frozen strawberries in the food processor with a 1/4 scoop vanilla pea protein and dash almond milk. Delish! Good base for one or 2 little wines.

I took a chance on buying a ninja blender today and was amazed at how absolutely incredible my fluff turned out (with ONE appliance only)!! It came with a food processor attachment so I can make my cauliflower rice without grating it by hand and a really nice spiralizer attachment too. Total game changer! Huge thanks to all of the fluff and blender coaches on this thread!

I just bought a food processor at Walmart the Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hamilton-Beach-Stack-Snap-12-Cup-Food-Processor-Model-70725/38813707

I made protein ice cream/fluff (I didn't have any ice haha), but it still turned out extremely creamy without a lot of fluffiness.

Will have to buy a few bags of ice the next time I'm at the store.

The only thing I hate about making protein ice cream/fluff is the way that the xanthan gum gets caked onto the food processor/blender.

I just had a 1.5 pound salad and I am still hungry.

    That’s why I make 5-6lb salads....and I’m not joking...I’ll show the scale....

Why in the world would you do this????
Also, dont believe it unless you load if with heavy items.

Because I have the freedom to do so and have an insane appetite? You don’t have to believe it if you don’t want, I don’t have a prob with anyone believing me or not believing me. I weigh everything out for the sake of tracking if you’d really like me to be specific....

Seriously now... when you have that 5-6lbs salad, please post whats in it and a photo. I just dont see anyone eating that much, by weight, of a salad in one sitting.

He makes a pretty big salad.

I know I've made some massive salads when I put a frozen meal on top.

@pinggolfer96 will have to look into the various sugar free/low calorie sno cone mixes!
