What I don't like is that MFP counts all sugars the same. Whether I eat a bunch of fruit or a bunch of brownies, it counts it the same. Obviously fruit is better, but 2 cups of watermelon is over 40 sugars, and it puts me in the red. MFP makes me feel guilty about eating fruits. I'm to the point where I'm just not even going to log the fruits that I eat....

Hmm, not sure I completely agree with this. Sugar is sugar and whether it is in a piece of watermelon or a brownie, it has the same calorific value, gram for gram. The difference is that brownies have way more sugar than fruits, and not a lot else, whereas fruits have lots of healthy vitamins, fibre, etc. So I agree that fruits are better than brownies, but I don't agree that fruit sugar shouldn't count. That said, as long as I stay under my calorie goal, I don't get too beat up if I go ver on my sugar.

Apparently, my work blocks ads. I don't see any. The only think I would like to see different is with logging your running. There is no choice for 10.5 or 11 minute mile. For some reason, you can choose a 10 minute mile and an 11.5 minute mile. I'm consistently a 10.5 or 11 minute miler, both of which I can't choose. Why MFP? WHY??????

McGruber - you can add your own exercises! I have a whole list of running speeds added to my exercises. Go to the Exercise tab, select 'My Exercises' and then click 'Create Exercise'. Enter the data of your run from your HRM or whatever you use to log, and voila.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Even if you search for something on MFP or even look up pages with words like pizza, you tend to get random adverts. I personally, have one for Abu Dhabi. Now, I honestly do not even know why I have that!

When your writing a post on being healthy and clean eating, and then you look and see a side ad for pizza.
    Im just like:

Pizza is the cleanest food ever! I'm making some tonight, in fact. The only "processed" food in it is the flour and tomato paste, and those are only minimally processed.

I had pizza for dinner last night.

    AND.

    This morning.

I also ate ice cream last night. BEFORE. The pizza.

    Hate me. Please.

I find it ironic that people don't realize that MFP can't control the ads. I find it ironic that people think they can never have pizza again for the rest of their lives. I find it ironic that people think ads are sabotage. Just stating random facts (or not facts because they are my opinion) without really considering if I am using the word ironic properly in a sentence. Carry on.

Unless you have a medical reason to do so stop tracking sugars since they are included in your carbs.:flowerforyou:

I added fiber...i realize now I was way low on that.

You know the ads are linked to your browsing history right? If you been on pizza company websites you will get their ads. Presumably if you look up a lot of porn you'll get their ads as well but I wouldn't know

I always thought it was just job security...

The thing that I dislike the most, is that people will complain about a free tool that helps them in their pursuit for a better life!

There's no "like" button, which means my lazy *kitten* has to type compliments:laugh:

    It's a fitness site.

Oh yeah, people with no sense of humor too:bigsmile:

No, just how I find it ironic that junk food ads are often on MFP.
And second, clean eating is eating all good nutritous foods
You get ads specific to you, based on your browsing history.

So if you're getting a lot of junk food ads, well ....

I don't mind, it's a free site, has to bring in money somehow. And maybe if the adds bothers you can think about it as preparing you for the real wolrd. Pizza, it is out there.
