Since we have a thread about what phrases winds us up, I though we might have one for a phrases that keep us going.
Do you have any phrase that you keep repeating to yourself that has this powerful effect on your motivation and commitment and helps you overcome self doubt, fear, plateaus, bad days..?

Good post. There are a few I keep reminding myself of.
How can you expect big changes without big efforts? Answer: you cant.
Long term success- as with most things in life - especially with weight loss, is not linear. Be prepared for setbacks so you can push through them.
Sometimes you just need to eat the cake, tomorrow is another day.6 -

All it takes is one day at a time.10

Thin Privilege.
...Although that's probably not a mantra.3 -

Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint.10

Virtually every morning, "I can do this."
When I really don't want to get out of bed and exercise, "I don't want to be D." (A very dear lady who was very large and died too soon. )2 -
We have a sweets table at work that was my Achilles heel. I would blow my calorie limit by 11am regularly and not even really enjoy what I was noshing on. So I started saying to myself every day, "I don't eat like that anymore. It's just not my thing." Three weeks in, and I haven't hovered over stale Oreos and the bowls of old holiday candy once.18

I can do this. I will do this. I must do this. Successful people are willing to do today what others wont do, so they can have tomorrow, what others wont have.6

Put on the damn exercise clothes already! (Once I do that, I have no trouble getting out the door to run or go to the gym)8

I have so many, it just depends on the need of the moment. I would say though that these three words are on my mind a lot: motivation, determination, consistency. They're the ingredients to my nearly 20 lbs weight loss and they're going to be the same ingredients I need to lose the next 30 lbs.4

Still faster than sitting on the couch14

"I want to be hot enough to walk the runway." It really helps me put in some extra work (even though i'm not even a model lol).3

*The ten minutes I walk is better than 30 minutes I do not walk.

I already know what happens if I give up. I want to know what will happen if I don't.14

Several variations to this, but:

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed,
the hands acquire shakes,
the shakes become a warning.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.18
