    Back from vacation and had a nice surprise when I weighed myself this morning managed to not gain any weight.

    Round 7--Start 229.7 End 228.3 Weight loss/gain -1.4
    Round 8--On vacation

    Went on vacation for two weeks. Had a great time. The scale showed a 7.3lb gain, I thought it would be a lot more, but I know a lot of it is water retention, messed up sleep schedule, and extra salt from all of the restaurant meals. Ready to get back to regular eating and exercising. My goal for this round is to get back down to or close to my pre-vacation weight.

    07/02--235.6
    07/03--233.4 Vacation water weight loss
    07/04--230.3 More water weight
    07/05--230.6 I think most, if not all, of the water weight from my vacation is gone.

    07/07--228.6 All water weight loss. I'm pretty surprised how quickly the water weight is coming off.
    07/08--228.1 I am shocked that I reached my goal for this round, hopefully it will stick for the rest of the round. Usually when I've gone on vacation and put on weight it's been so difficult to get back into my regular eating habits and I give up on my weight loss. So this is really exciting.
    07/09--228.1 Keeping steady. Would love to see the 227's before the end of this round.
    07/10--229.4 Not sure where that came from, just a normal weight fluctuation. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't have a great sleep last night because I was a little stressed about going into work this morning after being off for 3 weeks. Worried about any possible messes I may be coming back to when I return to work. Tonight I will be starting back with my weightlifting, so I'm expecting an increase at tomorrow's weigh-in.
    07/11--230.3 Weightlifting water retention. It was great to start back up with my weightlifting again after taking off the last 3 weeks.

    I'm very happy with this round. I was able to get back into my healthy eating and working out as soon as I got back from my vacation. Usually it takes me much longer to return to my regular schedule, but this time I was able to get back at it as soon as I got back home and that was a mental victory for me.

    07/01 - coming in from Round 8 - 157.3lbs

    07/02 - 159.4lbs - again on my Mom's scale. Celebrated Canada Day with too much good craft beer and some very salty ribs I'm going to pay for over the next few days. But no regrets!!
    07/03 - 160.8 - I'm not sure what happened to my post from yesterday...I probably forgot to hit post reply...d'oh!
    07/04 - 158.2lbs - getting back on track after a long weekend of indulging
    07/05 -159.4lbs - here goes my bouncing ball...rings are tight this morning, so I'm retaining something. I ate fantastic yesterday and was very active at work and went for a trail run when I got home.
    07/06 - 159.4lbs - bloated and constipated...ugh...feel yuck even though I've been eating the way I should and being active....
    07/07 - 159.0lbs - taking longer to get past one long weekend than it did my cruise vacation. I'm going to stay on track this weekend so I can head back down to where I was last week before it all fell apart....no beer for me!!
    07/08 - 158.0lbs - TOM snuck on me yesterday (thanks Peri-menopause!!) So some of the yuck I've been feelin must be hormonal. At least there was a drop on the sccale this morning...
    07/09 - 158.4lbs - here I go bouncing around the same pound and a half....
    07/10 - 158.0lbs - Yesterday I walked 9 holes with my clubs, did a new kettlebell work out I'm feeling today and ate super well. I feel great this morning even though this is the first give me 10 that I will probably not show a loss from the end of the previous round.

    07/11 - 156.6lbs - Holy Post TOM Water Whoosh Batman!!! I think I peed every half hour yesterday....showing today on the scale. I was pretty sure wouldn't show a loss this round but I did...YAY ME!!!

    07/03-162.8 I hit my 20lb marker woohoo! Half way to my goal before reevaluating.
    07/04-163.2 I decided to splurge lastnight since I was already over on calories and knew I would be home for the holiday, so I could control what I ate.
    07/05-162.8 I'm starting to figure out this whole up and down weight mind game. I'm in 3 challenges so I can't remember which one I read it on.... Anyone struggling with the scale please download the trending app, I'm Android so I use Libra and then Read about squishy fat and woosh you will be amazed. I know I feel so much better about facing the scale everyday now!!!!
    07/06- 161.6 woohooo just have to keep the number the same and I'll be ok
    07/07-162.8 seems to be my lucky number this round haha but I'm ok with it.

    07/09-163.4 darn weekends. 2 days left woohoo and back to work, I should hit my goal!!!
    07/10-161.6 recovered from my lazy weekend and was more active yesterday around the house. Now gotta keep it there for tomorrow.
    07/11-161.2 woohoo that's as close as goal I could imagine lol love it

    07/02 - 168.1 > Lots of walking today
    07/03 - 169 - Pedicure and a haircut pretty much a rest day, didn't even hit my step mark. I'm ok with that but a little dissapointed I didn't hit my daily goal.
    07/04 - 168.4 Got my steps in... Happy 4th to all my America friends!!
    07/05 - 168.7 SO is home for a week or so, let's see if I can hold steady!!
    07/06 - 168.4 Got my steps in no evening walk but was very busy running aroung at home.

    07/10 - 172.0 .... Well been out of town and enjoying some nice meals with little excercise, I know that this should be water/ sodium related so if I get back to my calorie counting and 15,000 steps I should be ok. But EEEEEKKKKK!!!

    07/02 247.6 Went jogging this morning and ran a 14 minute mile. Best this year! So tired though. Too much overtime.

    07/03 247.0 I'm grateful/horrified that I'm both too tired to resist impulsive eating and too tired to actually go get anything unhealthy. Go me for planning ahead for weak times, and not having anything on hand.

    07/04 246.8 Well, I made a cake for a holiday pot luck at work. Mindless batter eating. Oops. Will have to go for a run tomorrow to mitigate the sugary intake! Still, good day! Got to sleep in.

    07/05 248.2 Saddness! OK, no, not really. Had my holiday splurge and it was great. Didn't get to go for a run either. Boo. It'll be better tonight.

    07/06 246.6 Posting late. Went for a walk this morning. It was exactly what I needed. Numbers trending down again. Still, so tired. Got a few days off, going to sleep!

    07/07 245.8 Not only am I almost at 20lbs lost, but I ran a 12:17 mile today and I am honestly not sure which I am more excited about! I'm lying, it's the run time! I blew July's 13 minute mile goal away!

    07/08 245.0 20lbs lost! What a difference some sleep can make! I feel like a whole new person.

    07/09 246.0. What do you mean I shouldn't have beef jerky and cheddar for dinner?

    07/10 246.2 I've had such great, lazy days off, I ain't even worried. So well rested. It'll fall off once I get moving again.

    07/11 247.8 Did a 5k this morning. I'm loving how those are just a part of my week. Can't wait for the next round. This one wasn't my best, but that's all me and I can't really bring myself to begrudge a couple pounds during 60 hour work weeks. These challenges are fantastic and I feel like they are making me far more aware and accepting of small fluctuations.

    Round 8 ending at 214.5 (July 1- My 1st round)

    My goal is to stay within my calorie limit of 1600 & to only eat Half of my exercise calories back. I am on a 'lose 1.5 pounds a week' goal so I hope to lose 1.5-2 pounds this round. Best wishes all!

    Over all, I didn't lose anything in the past 10 days. Just today, I have decided to switch back to losing 2 lbs a week which puts me at a calorie limit of 1350. Thinking it will motivate me to workout a little more and hoping to once again see the scale moving. I have been at the same weight for 2 months now and it's not really encouraging to be struggle this much.

    07/05: 198.4 went down but I was bad yesterday. Ribs and beer at the BBQ and no exercise, but back on the grind today.
    07/06: 197.8 back at 97 going to take a walk and do Insanity later today.

    07/08: 198.4 dang it :/ this week isn't going the way that I wanted, but I got some good walking in today, and tomorrow I'll take another crack at it. Keep Pushing!
    07/09: 197.4 this has been a strange week for me. I can't seem to coordinate my eating and water consumption with my workouts, and when I have a decent day with food, I can't get on track with working out
    07/10: 196.8 yes! Once again didn't get to my normal workout, but I got in plenty of steps and stayed under my calories.
    07/11: 195.2 when I got on the scale this morning I was so surprised. With the 4th of July food and drink, and then just my busy schedule this week, I was feeling out of sorts, but I made some tweaks to my diet and it's been paying off these last few days. On to round 10!

    Total lost from my starting round: 7lbs :)

    7/3 Everyone slept late, did not weigh
    7/4 169.5 Finally weighed and I was up 5#. Due in part to eating poorly, eating salt, and bathroom habit being messed up by travel.
    7/5 Didn't weigh. Got up late and got ready to do a quilt shop hop with my daughter n the Tulsa area. 8 of 10 done. One is only opened 3 days a week and the other had their store hours incorrectly posted on their FB page.
    7/6 165 I knew it would drop when I got moving again.
    7/7 166
    7/8 167 too much sitting and eating out and not enough moving about!
    7/9 forgot to weigh
    7/10 on the road no scale
    7/11 on the road no scale

    After 2 weeks of travel, we got home at 6:30 tonight. 2 days to rest, do laundry, and repack before I take off with 3 friends for a quilt shop hop in southern California Friday-Sunday. Monday it's time to get serious! .

    7/4 - 169.8 - welp...at least it wasn't another gain.
    7/5 - 170 - nothing to see here...just gaining and losing the same 4-6 ounces for the last 2 weeks.
    7/6 - 168.8 - Finally! some movement in the right direction! let's see if I can keep the momentum.
    7/7 - 169.2 - 11 hour work day mostly sitting on my bum, so no workout, went over calories just a bit and dinner was high in fat and sodium, so not an awful gain considering. Back on track with exercise and diet today
    7/8 - 168.6 - very sedentary but also didn't eat much, so not bad
    7/9 - 169.2 - Good workout but pretty sedentary the rest of the day. Nice juicy ribeye for dinner last night...worth it.
    7/10 - 169.4 - Annnnnd...I'm right where I started this round.

    7/9 108.6 (1700 kcals) - Need to consume 1500 kcals but can't seem to keep it down.
    7/10 108.7 - Oh no only 2days to go!!! 10 days passes so fast. Guess I will go for "maintenance"
    7/11 107.5 (1550 kcals) - Although kcals are closer to goal -This is not real but I'll take it. AirCon has been out for
    2 days = Dehydration.
    7/12 Last Day for this round. 108.5 - 1550 kcals yesterday. Moving forward any number under 108 is my focus.
