So Starting on July 2- July 11 | JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 9! Lets see what more we can do as we reach a total of 90 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Weighing yourself everyday? Controversial you may say? Well for me personally, checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day. I don't about you, but it helps me and motivates me to keep going or to tweak what I did the day before. I never weigh more than just once in the morning. Our weight fluctuates constantly throughout the day with what we drink and consume, so only make it a 'once a day' rule for sanity sake. ~Hillcrestbaby
Let's give it our best 10 days ever for an inspirational jump into Summer!
Here is what to do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

I'm in. I weigh myself every morning and I keep track of food on MFP every day. I just have to remember to find this post every day.
Since I never post on here, a little about my weight loss so far:
I started last year on July 16th at 267.8# with type 2 diabetes. Today I'm 194.4# with BG numbers that hover around normal and "pre"diabetes. My goal weight is between 155-165 with healthy BG numbers.
Today is day 11 of "OMAD" (one meal a day) and I feel even better than before, really like this way of eating. I fast 23 hours a day and eat one nutrient dense meal around 6pm. This alone has already been helping with the blood glucose.
Good luck, see you all back here tomorrow morning for day 1 check in.6 -

Matt, you just click the community tab and then challenges and there are stars beside each challenge. If you click on that star it turns it gold and makes the challenge easier to search because you can hit the star in your menu bar and it will bring you to all your challenges.5 -

Ok so I just checked back through and so far the lowest day was 496 calories. The highest day was 2493. Every other day though has been right around 1200.
All whole, fresh foods:
Salad, grilled chicken, venison, trout and walleye, nuts, fruit, seeds, eggs, olive oil, coconut oil and homemade peanut butter. For fluids, I only drink water, most days ~ 1 gallon. If it's really hot and I'm extra active I sometimes end up a little over 2 gallons.
When I started weighing and measuring my food, I realized how easy it is to underestimate how much food you're actually eating. It's much easier to hit the marks with one big meal spread out over an hour than it is to track constant snacking and small meals through the day. That doesn't work for me and also kept my blood glucose fluctuating like crazy. I'm much more steady with one meal.
I'm also not hungry when it comes time to eat my meal, but it's a nice mental reward at the end of the day. Extremely satisfying, far more so than 3-6 small meals (for me at least).
If you're considering doing this, I would ease into it with a lighter schedule of intermittent fasting like 16/8 first, then 20/4. I did that for several months before switching to 23/1.

I'm in. Weight 07/01 = 271 -- but I did see 269 once during last week. This week's goals -- no take out Chinese after twice last week and more days with SIX as the second digit! There will be at least one hefty meal for the holiday weekend: a rib-eye and a large russet are calling my name from the fridge.

@MattDelR interesting! Thx for the info. I've tried intermittent fasting on a smaller scale. I was trying to imagine eating 1200 calories in one sitting - that's not a burger and fries that's great that it helps with your glucose too!2

Since I am new to this accountability thread I will give you a little background
Female, 56, Married
Started the year at 226.4
Goal for 2017 is a pound a week. So far I am on track.
I am not interested in quick weight loss. At best it is horrible on my hair. Freaked out the shampoo girl a few years ago when we had an office competition.
I eat everything, all the foods.
My main exercise is wogging. Thinking about doing a C25K training
Considering making my life more difficult and changing jobs.5 -

Not a horrible gain...I am being mindful of calories this weekend, but also eating way over my budget. My goal is to end these 10 days no higher than the end of round 8 ... 133.5
PS - I did get that workout out in 3.5 miles outside in the pouring rain!!!
