What scale do you use? I'm looking for something in the low to moderate price range, however I'm also interested if you guys thinks one with all the bells and whistle is worth it.

Have never found a need for anything but a generic cheapie. Couldn't even tell you what the brand name is - cost me $9 or something at Target.

I got the silver one first (Amazon), then recently bought the white one (Walmart).
Both were under $25. I like the raised surface of the silver scale because it makes it easier to see the reading. The white scale weighs up to 22 pounds, so it's much easier to cook large amounts of food.1 -
You don't need anything fancy. Look for one that's digital, allows you to switch between grams and ounces, and has a tare button. I will advise not to buy a Taylor one...I had two and they were both junk.1

I bought one similar to the first picture from Amazon. I have this one:
Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, Elegant Black
I read threads about scales and read Amazon reviews and stressed myself out. I have been very pleased with the one I have. It is extremely easy to use and seems accurate. It is on sale for under $8 right now through Amazon Prime.0 -
12 bucks at Amazon. Probably cheaper at Walmart. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A6D9ANI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=10
