Halo Top Intervention

I might need a Halo Top ice cream intervention. I bought 9 different flavors yesterday at Walmart, including several that I had not tried before. I can make each pint last 3-4 days easily. What flavors do you love? So far my favorite is the peanut butter cup, but I tried chocolate almond crunch and fell in love.

Ooooh, I don't think that was one of the flavors I picked up yesterday. I don't remember seeing that one. I'll have to look next time.

I love the lemon cake one, and I'm not normally a fan of other "cake" flavored ice creams. Very pleasant surprise.

$15 a pint?! It's $4.64/pint here, and like I said, it lasts me multiple days.

There may be a coupon on their website. I got a coupon from a grocery store for a free pint.

It's always on sale here and I usually keep 4-5 pints on hand. Makes good boozy milkshakes.

I tried halo top and was dissapointed by the consistency of it and the price lol . I know it's not going to be the exact same as my fav bluebell ice cream but the halotop was so hard and icy didn't give me a want for it ever again . I'd rather have a tiny amount of a good ice cream and stay in calorie goal

You're supposed to let it sit on the counter and get soft. It says that right on the container.

Either let it sit on the counter or zap it for 5-10 seconds (but definitely no more) in the microwave. Softens right up.

Oh my gosh! I too have a problem. When it goes on sale for BOGO or reduced sale I buy at least 30...not exaggerating. Just enough to last me 6-8 for the next sale.

Peanut butter, birthday cake, lemon cake, salted caramel. I don't even wait to let it thaw anymore and dig right in. Yummy

    Usually gone in one sitting.

Favs are PB and vanilla. When my store has them on sale for $2.88, I stock up. :)

I really enjoy the smores kind. I was really pleasantly surprised when I tried that one because I had tried the PB cup previously and wasn't all that impressed.

I still have a bunch in my freezer from the last $2.88 a pint sale. Honestly though... getting bored with the flavors.

It's $12 a tub here in Australia. I had to walk away from the Halo top, spending over $30 on these tiny tubs of ice cream every time i went grocery shopping was killing me! An added annoyance is that we only have the plain boring flavours here, no peanut butter or the other froo froo flavours.

Last weekend I confidently grabbed a 1/2 gallon of 90 cal per 1/2 cup Blue Bell No Sugar Added Vanilla, ($5.28) and as I left a muscle-bound and sleeveless fellow was clearly gathering his willpower to spend at the Halo-Top ($4.64) display.

I have tried the birthday cake flavor so far & have PB choc sitting in my freezer. The birthday cake was SO sweet I couldn't eat it straight, but it was really great as a milkshake.
