Okay so the white stuff is cream cheese and yellow stuff is cheddar but I'm assuming you could be extra gross and use mayo and mustard

Minus the mayo, this *kitten* sounds legit. I only recently heard about using mayo on the outside and grilling it. I kinda wanna try it but just can't bring myself to do it.
And for people discussing mayo or butter for grilled cheese I have just the video for yeh

I'm going to make this for my husband for his birthday. He likes this kind of stuff. I don't like bolone.
Here's her Spaghetti O Vienna Sausage Mold. Her food is pretty to look at. Just I don't think I would like the taste.

I just learned about mayo outside grilled cheese last year and it is AMAZE.
We like to pull quick weeknight meals or big weekend projects from NYT Cooking, and I saw they had a recipe for grilled cheese. I was all "uh I learned to make this when I was 8, does it really need a recipe?" but then we tried it and it was just so good. We've used sliced brioche and sliced sourdough (both tasty!), and the sandwich goes quite well with soup.

If I didn't know it was mayo, do you think someone who doesn't like mayo would notice the difference?
I don't think so. I don't like mayo and I don't ever use or eat it otherwise. The sandwich just crisps up nicely and I don't taste anything different than making it with butter.2 -

I agree. It doesn't really taste like mayo, but it's delish, and spreads easily on the bread!1 -
Do i have to read bologna cake every time I come here?

Don't think I would ever make a Bologna Cake, but, reading this post yesterday inspired dinner last night.
I stopped at the Deli and bought some Coppacola, Mortadella , Salami, Provolone, Swiss and Cheddar.
It was my birthday, so I treated myself to a sandwich with all the above on toasted French Loaf. Added Red Onions, Tomatoe, Avocado, lettuce, mustard, horseradish and mayo.
The sandwich stood about 14 inches high on the plate. Took real commitment and ingenuity to eat it like a sandwich. Washed it down with a tumbler of Booker's on the rocks.
That's how the RoadDog rolls on his 63rd Birthday.7 -

I'm just trying to further educate friends and the people in general. I hope the rectal plugs are working out for you.1
