On June 20, 2007, during a thunder storm in Oklahoma, a lighting bolt streaked across half the state. This is the longest lightning bolt ever recorded, stretching 199.5 miles from outside Tulsa to the Texas border, according to a press release. Originating at an altitude of six miles, the lightning touched down in several locations on its journey and was visible as far away as Colorado.

A 11 pack of these white strawberries at Daimaru, a department store in Japan, sells for about $36.  Expensive, yes, but not the most expensive fruit in the store.  They had one melon that was $108 and a strawberry that cost $20 each.  For non-Japanese people this may seem ridiculously high.  But these fruits are bought as gifts and are symbols of respect. Therefore, they are expected to be perfect in every way.

Nesgjá is another lovely fresh water fissure with the crystal clear water that is so unique to Iceland.
Due to the activity of the tectonic plates, tension builds up in the earth’s crust. Every couple of years this tension is released through earthquakes. These earthquakes create cracks that can be seen from the south west of Iceland all the way to the north east. The Eurasian and North American continental plates meet deep down under the earth’s crust along this line.
Some of these fissures are filled with water, usually glacial water that has been filtering through lava fields for many years, before it flows into rivers, the ocean or these fresh water fissures. After dripping for a such long time through porous lava rock, the water has been filtered perfectly and is literally as clear as it gets.

This here is the LeSabre Buick. It will get you there..... eventually. But boy! will it it be comfortable. Feels like you're driving a couch.

I am familiar with driving couch cars.
