I predict most every response you'll see will invariably include something saying that there is no "best" keto diet plan, you need to find what works for you, individually (i.e., what you can tolerate and what helps you lose weight).
That said, I personally am a big fan of the less-complicated-the-better approach. The staples of a keto diet for me would be meat, fish, eggs, and cheese. I'd aim to go about 2 weeks on just these things. After 2 weeks and some evidence that weight is starting to drop, I'd add in some nuts as a snack with low but measurable carbs. I lost about 75 pounds split across two 3-month runs of keto. My staple food for run #1 was hot dogs and muenster cheese microwaved to melti-ness (yum!). Simple, fast, accessible, and I liked them. I was never under any pressure to improvise. I also didn't count calories or other macros.
Good luck!4 -

Do some searches on the forums - they are loads of threads about keto. You'll find some ideas in the Recipes forum (for example http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/comment/40229682#Comment_40229682 ).
There's also a low carb high fat group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/112055-the-low-carb-high-fat-recipes-group-lchf2 -
@poisonedcandi did that already... Was pretty confused.. so thought if some one has less complicated advice would be great !!0

Why would you choose and eating plan that you aren't sure how to follow and you find it confusing? You don't need to follow a keto diet to lose weight. Keep it simple, you'll be more likely to stick with it.2

Don't give up just because you find Keto complicated. I lost weight by eating high (good) carbs and cooking just about everything at home. What matters is sticking to those calories. Get a food scale at wallymart if you don't have one.

@Makkar86 .. Vegetarian Keto isn't that difficult (except for getting enough protein.) Vegan would be the most difficult as it omits ALL animal products. It's still doable but you will have to get your protein from non meat sources such as beans, tofu, soy protein powder and veggie protein powder. Your best bet would be to make a keto shake in the AM and get your protein then..
For dinner tonight we had a keto lasagna.. we used zucchini. It was AWESOME! High fat low carb.. There are many recipes online for vegetarian keto.
You can make some vegetarian keto pizzas. I made some pizzas but mine had pepperoni.

The Low Carber Daily has a lot of info and tips that you might use: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group
Atkins induction phase is an easy plan to follow. Keto Clarity also has an easy plan. I think there is even a Ketogenic Diet for Dummies book out there.2 -

Is a great plan and you dont even have to think it thru, just follow. Its all laid in front of you. Mind your calories and portions and also get some l carnitine if you are teying to burn fats fast.0
