Can we keep going with this? I didn't see the challenge until now. I need it. Want to be done losing maybe by the end of the year and I think with being so busy I am letting it slide, too much.1

My skin & lips are still really dry and I'm still very thirsty in the evening, even with getting a lot more water most days than I used to. I would often go a whole work day with only about 16 oz of coffee or tea if I didn't consciously make an effort to drink more. I thought I'd feel more hydrated. I live in a desert climate, though.0 -

Hi, thanks for the invitation to join. I live in the Northeast USA. Not desert, but ranges in temps and humidity occur. I weigh about the same as you. See what you think on the following: If I do what is good for me, I drink 12 cups a day. If I have caffeine, I drink more and the same with vigorous exercise and if I increased sodium. Sounds like you need more if you are still thirsty? I usually don't go over 16 cups. When my weight is lower, I tend to max out at 12 no matter what or I was told that I am flushing the vitamins and minerals. What that weight is, I would have to look in my notes. You have hot, dry temps, so maybe that is affecting you. It takes awhile for the body to get hydrated again, too. Consider if you take certain meds and what you should do. I count decaf teas and coffee, juice and milk and similar for the count. Carbonated water occasionally.Consult your friendly Dr., if unsure, of course. I can't say exactly what to do, only what I do. Here's to all the best!1 -
I will post Monday for the official startup, but for accountability this week, just yesterday and today.
