Success/struggles of the week:
Success: I am so happy to be here! I've been eating a LCHF diet for the past seven years and a year ago began eating a ketogenic diet which I will continue. Exercise stays the same (yoga, HIIT on a stationary bike for 30 minutes and walking every day along with strength training 2-3 times a week). Daily 16:8 daily intermittent fasting. I've weighed myself daily for the past two years and will continue doing that. I wouldn't mind losing a few more pounds but my doctor says that, at my age and with a large body frame, this is a good goal weight for me.
Struggles: I am very anxious about how well I'll be able to maintain. It would be so easy to slip back into bad habits.18 -

Success/struggles of the week:
Success: I am so happy to be here! My original goal weight was 165 I surpassed that and now going to try to maintain for awhile and think about if I want to loose 10 more pounds. I am very near the top of my BMI. Sunday's are me weigh in days. While technically I am not at my goal weight I'm figuring as I plan around with calories I will be very soon.
Struggles: I am very anxious about how well I'll be able to maintain. It would be so easy to slip back into bad habits. I have done this before and do not want to start all over again this time in my life.12 -

Success: I'm eating a mostly plant-based diet. Added sugar was/is a trigger food for me. I'm not good with moderation, so I cut most added sugar out of my diet last year. I no longer eat sweets and don't miss them (I will eat an apple instead). My cholesterol was out of control and is normal now. I aim for an hour of exercise a day.
Struggles: meal planning is essential. Sometimes I have to force myself to make food in batches, but it pays off. I don't cook much and gained weight from eating out so much. I returned to college, classes have started again, and I want to guard against getting busy and saying to heck with my health.6 -

Successes/struggles of the week: Well, the holiday has played havoc with my eating and I'm still not back into my normal exercise routine because of the Bank Holiday last week either. I feel huge, sluggish, hungry and unfit at the moment....... but I'm determined to do better this week!7 -

Success/struggles of the week: was a good week for me, it hasn't rain as much in the afternoons, I was able to ride more than last week. I have developed some weird aversion to restaurants, it doesn't seem to be worth it for me anymore, i enjoy our home cooked meals. But...that seems not to be the case with my wife, she apparently is missing the restaurant's junk food. Oh, the struggle! Honestly, i feel disappointed most of the times, just thinking of all the extra butter, cream, and salt that they sneak in their food, because it's a quick, easy, cheap and sure way to make it taste good. At home, we do that with spicing, not fats. Ughh.5 -

Without going in to the whole thing, I have been bouncing around my range for most of this year. All of my clothes fit so no problem. As of my last weigh in 8/29?, I was holding steady at 115#.
If I get on the heavy side, I eat more salad and stay home. If I get on the light side, I go out for a cheeseburger.
I try to run 4 - 7 miles/day weather permitting.

Success: A very small weight loss this week. We're spending a quiet holiday week-end at home. Smoke from the wildfires plus temps in the 90s here in Oregon mean I do my outside exercise early in the morning.
Struggles: I've gone back to an 18:6 intermittent fasting schedule and keeping a close eye on the number of carbs I eat. The last of the summer's corn-on-the-cob is so tempting!

I went to a friend's cabin on Mt Rainier and we (3 of us) did some great hikes this weekend. Although they were long and hard, I'm always thrilled to be able to do this again. So much fun. All of us like to eat healthy, and we each brought what we had and scraped together some meals in between hikes. Great people to hang out with!7 -

Struggles/successes of the week: added more calories this week, so that was good. Felt more "full." Had a good exercise week. Really getting tempted by all of the Halloween candy out there! Successes/struggles of the week: I'm happy with the scale number this week - even though it hasn't gone down since last Friday - because it doesn't tell the whole story! After the excesses of last weekend, I weighed in at 148.6lbs on Monday - the highest I've ever been since getting to my goal weight, so, as you can imagine, I wasn't very happy!! I feel I lot better having at least got back to my post-holiday level. I'm liking being more instinctive about my eating and so I'm resisting going back to logging my CICO again at the moment, but in my head I've given myself 5 weeks to get back to being under 140lbs (I start my new job on the 16th October) before thinking I may have to start logging again in order to be more accountable - so we'll see how that goes!?
I'm completely back to my usual level of exercise this week, which has been tougher than I thought it would be, but it felt really good to get back to doing everything - who would have thought I would have missed the gym so much?!?!?3 -

I ran my first marathon two weeks ago (42.2 km without stopping). Over the moon about that! Needless to say, I've been doing a LOT of exercise this year (including swimming and Body Balance cross-training), and I think I've gained a bit of muscle since January. I've read tons of the recomp thread, but this "weight gain" still does my head in!6 -

Thanks @lorrpb - I know you're probably right..... It feels like it could be more than just water weight - it's been 3 weeks already! .......but I'm determined not to panic!1 -

This upcoming week is going to be hard as it's hubby's birthday week and we are going away Fri/Sun so gonna be extra good this week so I can save for the weekend.3 -

How long in maintenance : I declared it at 140 in January 2016, but that was too high for a petite lady. Redeclared it 4/14/17.
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 122 at morning weigh-in.
Ongoing struggle: I still need to learn to trust my body cues, be content with eating just enough, and stop asking food to be more than just fuel. Life after work is just filled with getting steps and eating food to fill my evening. Really need to make peace with having fewer cals to work with. Contentment and an attitude of gratitude (and maybe a hobby, like sign language) are the order of the day.

Successes of the week: Starting to feel comfier at school. New and anxiety-ridden is slowly becoming old, familiar, and comfortable. Will be glad when that transition is complete!
Challenges of the week: The birthday celebration became a birth week celebration. LOL That is lovely, but I am having trouble getting myself to care about my food intake being over every day. Like, I am winning lots of battles, but one loss causes me to lose the overall war.
Also, disconnecting my Fitbit from MFP this week to see if that helps overcome the compulsive urge to eat green cals, even when I know they are a lie.
