Success/struggles of the week:
Success: I am so happy to be here! Got all my walking in even at the beach.
Struggles:Went away for the weekend to the beach I was so anxious of the food/exercise that I would eat and the walking I thought I would not get in that I could not relax. I will weigh myself sometime to this week to see where I am at weight wise.5 -

Successes/struggles of the week: I realized I was putting too much emphasis on exercising. Just overdoing it a bit obsessively. So I'm going to cut back to a healthier amount and include some non weight loss activities in my life to help me mentally switch over to maintenance. I used to make my entire day about losing weight. That's all I would think about and it's not healthy.6 -

How long in maintenance: I called maintenance in July 2016, but I have continued to slowly lose so I'm not really sure.

25th September:
Success/struggles of the week: I had several days last week a little under range, but my trend has stayed in range and the weight was up a bit since the weekend. It is still kind of hard to get my mindset away from losing. I know that my weight being up a little this week from last week is just normal fluctuations, but it is hard to stop wanting to see it always going down. I do think I am right where I need to be though.4 -

Success: I’ve finally got more of a handle on maintenance and figured out the range I want to/am able to maintain.
Struggles: Meeting my protein goals. Lately I’ve been craving bread hardcore. I don’t generally carb restrict but I’ve noticed my intake getting higher and higher and my cravings getting stronger and stronger.

Success/struggles of the week: boohoo, starting last Monday, had to forgo my usual walk/gym visit most days in order to prepare for house guests. Since the houseguests arrived on Thursday, it has been one family gathering after another, with much guesstimating of calories consumed, and so on, plus eating less due to a much lower TDEE. It's been a real shot in the arm to see that I can still manage my weight even with that many challenges. But I guess it helped that it's all about good times too...5 -

Success/struggles of the week: no real struggles, I'm feeling more relaxed about food, and generally things i eat. Don't get me wrong here, my diet is high on veggies, cooked and raw, but i do love chocolate, nuts and dry fruit, and crackers with hummus. Lately i was craving cream cheese, and helped myself to it here and there. My main goal is to not go to far with those things, but i have to say, i feel i can give myself a pat on rhe back for doing that well. Post hurricane life is getting back to normal, got three 32 miles each rides in, although the bike lanes is pretty much nonexisting right now, with debris and sand all over, but I'll take that anyway, as long as i can ride.5 -

Lots of water retention this month! We had our first big rain in over 3 months last night. Trying to get myself mentally prepared for wet rainy weather. It always slows me down, especially after the time change the first week in Nov, so I hope not to get bogged down this year. We also found a new short but fun hike in a park near us. It's always great to find new places to walk.

I've read that there are certain numbers that trigger an approval. Not sure why, but I think "1 1 9" is one of them.1 -

I' m changing my weigh-ins to Tuesdays because it's more suitable.
Success/struggles of the week:
- I lost my Fitbit charger and only found it the night before. However I think that I was active enough, at least it felt like I was or my body could be fibbing.
- I eat like a pig during the week. I didn't care. But by Friday I mentally and physically felt ready to start. So I didn't wait until Monday to begin my mindful and sensible eating.
- I'm averaging way to high and must bring my average down. I am scared of gaining back too much weight. And I'm actually happy with the way I look and feel so I'd like to keep it this way.

Struggles: I am struggling to controls the lickers bites and nibbles.
Successes: I did my long run on Sunday, but it was split in two (outside then home on treadmill due to child care needs so that was pretty weird. Even though I am supposed to drop the mileage this week, I think I will do the sMe long run salsa week just to see that it can be done. I am changing weigh in to mid week or maybe Friday as I seem I have a build up of water/ glucose on mondays due o the longer runs.
Upcoming week plan: stick to the running training schedule and push myself in the mornings during the weight session. Keep an eye on my nibbles. No sliding back to old habits.
@macchiatto in happy scale, on you summary page, trend weight should be on the top at the left. However, you might have to configure that in settings.2 -
@macchiatto there is a wheel in the top section of your summary page. Hit that and you can turn on trend weight there.2

Similar question, but for Libra app, is there a way to see monthly average weight on it? It shows current trend, but i can't seem to see monthly average.0 -
Libra-There is a database log in the top right corner. It shows a running trend but I'm not sure of the time frame. It doesn't seem to change even when you change the setting for smoothing days.
For this thread. I add together the weights listed for the month and divide by the number of logins listed. Either 4 or 5. This is the old fashioned way of calculating a mathematical "average' (which is slightly different from a trend or rolling average.)1 -

For this thread, I don't add up 30 weights, just the 4-5 that I log in this thread each week.2 -

Successes/struggles of the week: Very pleased with myself this week. The scale wasn't going back down to within my happy range fast enough (and all my clothes were uncomfortably tight!), so I've taken to logging all my calories again temporarily until I'm back within range - and it has really helped. I'm so happy to know that I can always use this as a tool whenever I need to . Apart from a tiny bit of mindless munching on breakfast cereal straight from the box last night (I know - wth!?) I've done very well with my eating this week.5 -

Struggles/successes of the week: This week I went WAY off my plan on Tuesday. I ate about 2000 extra calories. It's almost my "time of the month" and I was just so hungry all day. I keep needing to remind myself that my goal range is 128-135. Also, I was eating maintenance calories but I am not doing that anymore. It just causes too much anxiety. I went back to 1200 calories a day for Wednesday and Thursday after my explosion on Tuesday and it just helps me so much. If I give myself an inch, I want to take a yard. And I will. So no more 1550 days for me. Back to living with 1200 calories a day because it does seem to stabilize my weight and it does seem to be enough. I have energy and I don't get "food babies" and bloating like I do when I go up to 1550 calories a day.

@girlgroves I'm doing the same right now. Back to logging until I'm in a better place. However, trying to not use the kitchen scale yet. I want to test my self with "mindful" eating before going all strickt and rigid. Hopefully I won't need to.0

I never strictly weighed and measured everything anyway, even all the while I was losing, so when I say 'logging all my calories' it's in my quite relaxed way, i.e. 'entering all that I eat in my diary and totalling it up at the end of the day so that I get an approximate estimate of what my calories have been'! But whatever works at getting us to watch what we're eating more carefully eh!? Good luck0 -

Struggles: No real struggles this week. Just trying to keep things reasonable and tight.
Successes: I had a great run yesterday and hit a PR for pace. It's amazing what taking an unscheduled rest day will do for your stamina.
Upcoming week plan: First Friday weigh-in. I will keep on keeping on. I am traveling next week so I have written a gym plan and am trying to make my mileage goals but I think I will have to move my long run a day out. Will plan accordingly.2 -

Successes- still fighting the good fight. Rolled with the punches a little more easily than I could in the beginning. Learning how to be ok with having to make adjustments to my plan and routine. I still don't like them, but I handle them better. Trusting myself to go to a food festival tomorrow, which is a huge gain for me. I'm so excited. I also changed my maintenance range. I got a little more realistic and went down about 2 pounds on each end. That's really where I've been maintaining and where I'm happier.
Struggles- as i mentioned above, i had to change my schedule this week. Moved my rest day pretty far, which bugs me, but i rolled with it. Also, i feel like my weight is overall trending upward. I'm hoping it'll actually level out in a bit, but luckily it's moving slow enough that i can nip it in the bud if it becomes a problem3 -
