bump!
Has anyone calculated these out yet? Do they have more protein than carbs? That's my biggest problem with "protein bars"- most have more carbs, which isn't good for me when I'm looking for higher protein.
But these look really good, I may have to try them out anyway!
Hey there! i have not...you can always make them to where it renders more protein than carbs! just put less rolled oats in it! When using recipes, i use them as a guide...i never follow them to the T!0 -

whipping some up tonight, made a recipe for them in my Diary and came to the following: (as I haven't made them yet I used 6 serves as an estimate, Macros are per ball)
Calories: 148
Carbs: 10g
Fat: 7g
Protein: 11g
I used Lowans Wholegrain Rolled Oats, Optimum Nutrition's Whey Protein in Rocky Road flavour & Kraft No added Salt and No added sugar Crunchy Peanut Butter.0 -

i use mine as quick carb/energy source that happen to have some protein and good fats. I am on a high protein diet, so don't consider these to me much of a protein source, but they get my blood sugar where it needs to be in the morning or when it's too low.
I think mine are 140 calorie for a ball that is big enough to take 3 bites and 4 grams of protein (my version anyway)0 -
Bump Definately want to try these!0

These are awesome! I make them with shredded coconut and Nutella. If I want to get fancy sometimes I add in Craisins, raisins, peanuts, and/or semi sweet and white chocolate chips! We call them "Crack Balls" in our house.0
