"Get over it" to anything relating to a mental illness or struggle a person might be undergoing.

Not using turn signals (person above mentioned that and I agree).

Driving in the passing lane when you aren't passing and even worse is when you aren't passing and you are driving under the posted speed limit. Ugh.

[/b]And driving in the passing lane at the same speed as the car they are "passing", essentially "car hugging". :|

This is now illegal in Oklahoma.

Gotcha. I was thinking a natural body temperature that would suggest the woman in question was you know, dead.

Which then just gets into a weird question of what these people are doing with corpses. :o

Yes, I suppose. People who can't relate to other people's problems, despite if they've 'been there' or not. It's like seeing all the sad stuff in life or society and going "Eh, not my problem."

What about when it's impossible to relate?

As much as I might want to relate to someone in any given situation, if I haven't experienced that situation I can't fully comprehend how they might be feeling.

Get more life experience ;) you've been upset before though so I'm sure you can relate on that front

No need, I YouTubed how to empathize

I actually was replying to teacups and toning or something similar.

    That's MRS. TeacupsAndtoning to you!

Also, of course I've been upset before. But like, if someone I knew had a husband who died or if they've just lost their job but they have four kids to support - I can't know what that's like. A lot of my experiences aren't applicable so while I can try to know what it's like I can't actually know.

I don't do titles....unless its my own. You may call me Lord.

True. I think trying to understand is possibly more powerful than actually understanding-it shows a desire to want to know what the other person is feeling whereas the person who has experienced the similar event will often have had no control over the matter. Also there are some people who've had similar life events who have no desire to empathise with others, so you need a desire to want to understand the person's situation.

For me, it would mean more if someone wanted to understand my situation even though they'd never been in it.

Everything that has to do with Christmas shopping like: trying to find a parking spot, a cart with a broken wheel, people standing in the middle of the isle preventing you to get where you want to go( by all means please take your time i'm in no rush :| ) not being able to find anything because people don't care and throw everything anywhere, trying to pay but there's only 2 registers open out of 10.

This gave me anxiety, I think I'm getting gift cards for everyone

Thats what I do ... pick out your own damn thing ! :D

Some people are better than others but they don't need to tell anyone. Sorry but they are trash in the world.

People who get fired for legitimate reasons. Such as starting a fist fight with your boss in this case. Then turn around and make threats such as hiring a lawyer to sue the company for firing them.
