Awesome... considering your talents showcased in this sound clip, I believe you are uniquely qualified to perform the chorus of this classic.

    Was not expecting that!!
Can you sing Opera or something? That's a crazy vocal transition, I love it!!

You’re too kind 💜 I’ve joked around with attempts of sounding like I can sing opera. I can’t take myself seriously with it. I’ve been told it sounds good, it’s just not my thing.

    Agree!

was gonna respond, but you were going away or something @Reckoner68 (creepy I remember, right!)

Anyhow, thought I'd make a humble request...
@ghudson92 ...you said "blimey"in a thread a bit ago, and it's stuck in my head! Had to google what it meant, but am now obsessed with hearing it in context!!

Pretty please say "blimey" (in context)...and while were at it, what is your favourite flavour of doritos?!
...and more importantly, are Doritos better than Tostitos? Or regular potato chips?
    ...think hard...totally judging your answer!!

I listened to myself just now and I could straight up die but that's that. Robot alien from the moon is my secret identity though so I will have to self destruct as my cover has been blown. Thanks.

You sound like a normal human worm baby as well. Is there a thread already for writings and such? There should be. Although for most of this crowd the stories would have to fit the twitter character count so it's easily digested. I guess that's the two sentence horror story. Problem solved already!

Creating problems that have already been solved is a strategy not unlike writing completed things on the to-do list just to check them off--valid strategy.

And I do not recommend dying

Ok here's me reading some flash-fiction I wrote up a few years back. I've been working on a horror/noir thing lately so this style is on my mind. It was a story based on the picture that a friend of mine drew.

Funny, I was gonna tag you and ask you to read us something! (But I didnt want to seem pushy, and chickened out!)

Thank-you for sharing! Your story is engaging, I enjoyed this a lot!
You have a good voice for reading too

    Thanks :)

I took it all down for a while and don't remember what I'd put up here in the past (and I'm not gonna search it) so I'm hoping it was something new. Glad you enjoyed it!!

    ❤❤ ❣❣

    Thank-you!!
You have a great voice and pretty accent!!

Don't anticipate greatness with Tostitos they are like the "fast food" of tortilla chips, more "artisan" tortilla chips are way better imo.

    Did you say "cheeseburger" doritos?

And I think you said marmite? I've heard you UK'ers talk about that, but have no idea in life what that is. Gonna google where I can get some. I'm Canadian.

So, is "blimey" kinda like saying "wtf" or more like "what the heck" (not swearing/cursing/cussing (don't know what you call swearing there))? Or is it like "omg"?

Thank you, that is very kind of you.

I did indeed say cheeseburger Doritos. They were life itself and I miss them.

Marmite is a UK delicacy - although I think the Australians have their own version known as vegemite. Marmite and cheddar cheese on toast is a revelation.

Yes. Sorry I didn't explain it too well. It is a polite way of saying "wtf".

Boredom makes us do crazy and sometimes stupid things. Ok maybe not YOU, but boredom definitely makes me do crazy and sometimes stupid things.

So a while back, my friends and I started a writing challenge where we had to hit a certain daily wordcount and if we didn't do that throughout the week, on Sunday we'd have to write a flash-fiction and record it and post it up for everybody to hear. That's where most of my audio stories on Soundcloud come from, by the way--we always had a theme to write to, and there it was.

The first time I knew I was going to miss it, and I knew I was going to have to record, two things were running through my head: 1) I'm not skilled enough to read a big story in a single take without it sounding like hot garbage and 2) maybe whiskey would help.

So for the first story I was going to put up, I intentionally did it in a journal-entry style...hoping that the "clicks" between entries, or the pauses (I honestly didn't know how it would come out) would fit the atmosphere of the story while simultaneously letting me record the story in a buncha smaller takes.

    Smooth, eh?

It didn't come out perfect, but the whiskey helped <hic>

Anyway, here's another story, since it's tis-the-Halloween-season anyway and this is a little bit horrific. If the story doesn't scare you, the performance just might :D

eta: Yes, that artwork is original and done by me, too. Since I know you're wondering.
