First time wandering into this thread and listening to some of your audio clips! So many lovely, soothing voices! 😊

I’m very timid, but I’ll post someday. Maybe. Haha

@MelG7777 love you waking up your kids ❤️ I need a recording like that on my phone 😂

I'm doing a short little singing from a random song because I'm too embarrassed of my accent and singing gives me a little more grace... I sound like a five year old :'(

Haha! Well I’m looking for a job. Maybe people can commission me to be annoying AF for them and use it as an alarm!🙌

All who are intimidated or nervous, set it aside. We all have voices, we all talk, that's how we communicate with the world. I want to hear you, we want to hear you.

A lot of us are from the northeast... a NY accent sounds like home. Yours is very slight, btw.

    Wisconsin accent or nah?

There is a Wisconsin accent. I do not hear it in your voice though. My parents have traveled some and most of the time they ask if my dad is from Minnesota and if my mom is from Canada. I don't think the Wisconsin accent is well known, but from growing up in the cheese state I can pick it out pretty well.

Yes, you get it! Its gross. I’d rather have a stormy dark gray if it has to be cloudy. At least that’s a bit dramatic 😌

GUS! Teach us a common Dutch phrase! Like, “Do these wooden shoes come in another size?” Or “May I please have another stroopwafel?” 😝

    Oh good idea.
I will think of something, post it in text here as well and dare everyone to copy it with their own voice

You have a lovely voice, Mel & I think all accents are charming, just different. Some are thicker, others slight, even if from the same town.

Imho, it's the tone of voice that makes or breaks the pleasantness of a voice, not accent. I like your voice.
