It’s in the way you say accent! I pronounce it AKS-ent. Wisconsinites pronounce it Ayiks-ent or something. It’s really hard to write it phonetically.
I also hear it in the word Wisconsin. Not necessarily when you say it but in general. It’s usually pronounced a bit more like Wiscansin. The o gets flattened and brought forward in the mouth compared to my accent. Which.. is an accent in its own right 😬
I hear the same, but we all have accents, somewhere.0 -

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I’m ok with ANY way except in a cheese hat. Have some decency.0 -

True...I was mostly being silly. But I have heard (years ago) that actors were trained to sound like they were from this area because it was kinda neutral and “any person” sound. Like we pick up others accents easily too.
Please tell me I don’t say Wisconsin like that. Wiscansin....I pride myself in not saying it that way. Am I living a lie? You can lie to me.1 -

I didn’t hear it in you, no. I have family from there though and they have the pretty stereotypical flattened o.0 -

Whew! Are they northern WI? I’m so close to the border I might as well live in IL. Lol0 -
