Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals. Most "junk foods" are made from grains, nuts, cocoa, sugar, and vegetable fats (I'm thinking of candy, chocolates, chips in the U.S. sense; commercial baked goods). Most of those things are reasonably good source of one micronutrient or another. Even refined sugar has trace amounts of some minerals, and vegetable oils have vitamins E and K.0
