I don't get why noodles are "garbage" but bread is not.

Depends on the quality of the noodle and the bread.

White noodles have lower micro nutrients than nutrient dense flaxseed bread.

Well I know you probably don't have one handy because you already would have done this, but if you had a pasta machine, you could easily make a flaxseed lasagna noodle.

I've been begging for a pasta roller for ages. Some day!!

I wish I had one too. I would make EVERYTHING pasta!

I just picked up a brand new pasta roller from Goodwill over the weekend for $20. Be jealous.

I don't like "garbage" in my food. The dinner I made last night I've dubbed my "No Garbage Lasagna". I cut out all cheese, got rid of the noodles, reduced the oil and added way more veggies. Ringing in at 284 calories per (hearty) serving, boasting a deep flavor and being as simple as it is I'm definitely going to be making this one again!

This is not lasagna... this is a veggie type casserole. Also... cheese and noodles are not "garbage"

This has been thoroughly discussed in the last three pages. >_>

Again, this has been _thoroughly_ discussed already.

Don't sweat it. Most people read the title, the OP, and skip the rest of the thread before replying.

You'll see the "it's not lasagna" complaint at least once a page.

looks yummy, but it's ratatouille. and the caloric change is all from the cheese b/c the bread is more calorie-dense than pasta. why not make your own pasta (omg it's so easy) and actually cut the cals a little more?

    That's because it's

    A) Not Lasagna
    2) Still has "Garbage"
III) Making honest Italians and Italian decedents, and people who like real Italian food cry. You're making people cry. That makes you mean.

So mean. I really am crying.

I am surprised at the backlash. Sure, it isnt lasgna, which has been discussed, but aside from that it doesnt look like a bad dish.

It's legitimately a ratatouille, classic French dish.

Exactly. Probably wouldn't make it but if someone made it for me, I'd eat it :flowerforyou:
