It's called a calendar and it's free. Mark your start day every month. Mark how long your period lasts.

Count, using your start day as day one, 24 days ahead. Your period will start between that 24th day and the 31st day. Some people, more, hopefully not less.

Do this every month for a year or more and you will know your cycle. Take this to your gynecologist. If things get weird, or aren't regular, this will help you know and give your gyno great info. It also helps when you're trying to have a baby, and you're trying not too, although, when trying not to, Birth Control is the best.

    srsly...all that counting...oy.

my cycle changes a lot too....lately it has matched the marketing departments....in a couple months it could shift to match my womens softball leagues cycle....

    your method is not sustainable

Yes, counting to 24, so much effort. If your cycle is that irregular this would be the perfect thing to take to your gynecologist. And this worked for me forever, and I went to an all girls school run by nuns, and I lived with 4 sisters growing up.

My cycle varied from 28 days mostly to a random 36 days once every 4 or 5 months. Once I understood that that was how my body worked, life was a heck of alot easier.

i already talked to her, and she said its perfectly normal for my cycle to shift like that. sometimes i will have extended stay out of town guests to the house JUST so i can regulate my cycle. like in november i had my college buddies from our womens lib club come and stay for 2 months just so i could not have my period on new years. worked like a charm.

    That sounds really complicated.

Agree. Mine shows up when it wants to and I'm fine with that. Then again, I've always got stuff on hand and am not trying to get pregnant. I have too many important other things to track.

OMG, this young generation is so lazy. If it isn't automatic then you can't be bothered.

I never knew counting up to 24 was complicated.

I'm sure there has to be a program out there that can do it for you, and if there isn't, let me know, I'll program an Excel file for you to do it automatically.

Doesnt work if you have PCOS...normal cycles yes

I don't understand the problem? Can't you just hold it inside until you get to the store?

I have an iPhone app that tracks my cycle. It was free. It's called 'Period Tracker'. I use it not to make sure I have 'supplies' on hand, (I always do), I used to plan ahead. Holidays, travelling, etc. It's been handy

    Diva Cup. That is all.

    Yup!
  • Birth control for me...

every 4th Tuesday, between 9AM - 12 Noon, THERE SHE IS! HI FLO!

And it's called Coscto - those boxes with last me several months. I have a 24 hour CVS within walking distance of my house as well.

Also, calendars... they work wonders - typical time is 24-32 days. Then again, I let my pill do the work. No, not lazy, just not ready for a baby, and still not.

Hmm I don't think I like this method sounds complicated

Who needs a calendar? Just wait til your boobs are sore, then you know it's time to start packin' some protection!

A spreadsheet sounds too complicated for me. I use an app on my phone. It texts me 3 days ahead of time and little reminders pop up on my screen. I just forward the text to my husband. He knows what to do.

Is there a package available for men who suffer from PMS as well? I feel this product is discriminatory aainst men and our money. Sex is a protected class.

No there isnt and I agree I think this is why men make up more then half the population of prison inmates because they arent taught how to deal with the negative emotions that come with their monthly moodiness. This is why teenage males are always in such a rage. They dont know how to properly handle hormonal fluctuations.

Remember it's OK to cry or feel blue. It's OK to want to be alone and write in your diary or sing along to the Caprenter's. It doesnt make you any less of a man it makes you more of a man. When you can admit your feelings than you have evolved.

I'm SO relieved. I can never remember to buy enough tampons, pads, liners or chocolate before TOM. It's really distressing having to waddle into the pharmacy with a washcloth stuffed in my pants, because Iforgot AGAIN!

I'm even more confused . Why would you even open the valve that lets the blood out if you were not ready for it? Don'tyou guys have control over your period?

I found something called Tampax "Brown" for Men. Does this sound like what you're looking for? I bet you could email the website and ask them to carry it.

Does it ship in discreet packages?

I know when I'm buying feminine hygiene products, it's like a mad dash down the aisle at the store, and trying to discreetly cover them with whatever else is in my cart. I almost feel like it's some kind of drug deal. Sneaking it onto the conveyor belt at check out. Could they make those packages any more flamboyantly colored?! FFS I don't need to announce to the world that it's my TOM.

    From the website:
Is the box discreet? Absolutely. Feel free to get it sent to your office.

No. How should i know how they work? I don't have one. Isn't a vagina just a blood reservoir thatslowly fills over a month, and then you drain it after it gets full?
