Some of you guys are funny, My cookie comment was a reply to a poster. I have a cookie about once a month. My weakness food is chocolate, anything chocolate. I probably need to eat more fruits and veggies. I eat a green salad everyday, but I guess I need more. I grab and go a lot, so I will monitor what is in that stuff. At 43, I can't eat like I used too. Thank y'all for the advice and suggestions. It helps and I really appreciate it

Figure out your BMR. If you're eating under it, then your deficit is probably too high for you.

LOL, I couldn't eat 1300 calories of cookies even if I tried.

    .....I could.

    Challenge accepted.

My thoughts exactly. This is an individual that clearly doesn't understand the fine art of binge eating <insert sarcasm font here>.

I'm hungry all the time, too, even eating the calories I burn exercising. And I don't seem to be losing any weight, which causes me to get mad and then sabotage myself with a day or so of bad eating. Sound familiar, anyone?

Hungry all the time .....try a few different things, not everyone is the same.

Protein, fat, and fiber ALL help you stay full. I need a combination of these (2 of 3 works) but just protein doesn't cut it for me.... I'm hungry fairly quickly.

So a filling breakfast for me is: greek yogurt, high fiber cereal, and a few nuts sprinkled in...... or steel cut oats made with milk and powdered peanut butter..... you could add a few walnuts instead of powdered peanut butter.

A snack would be fruit & a light cheese wedge, or a TBL or nut butter & fruit, or veggies & hummus

Re: eating the calories you are burning ...... this is a good thing, but calorie burns provided by MFP and machines can be inflated. Try to get a couple sources for calorie burns, and be conservative.... or use a heart rate monitor (if it's cardio).
