So, I'm 19 years old. I'm 6'3, and I weigh 360lbs. I desperately want to lose weight and be happy with myself. I'm self conscious, I hate looking in the mirror. My goal? I want a superhero body. (It's.. embarrassing to tell people.) But it's what I want. I cosplay as Spider-Man, and I want to fill the suit up the right way. If ANYONE has gym/diet tips I'll listen. I desperately need help.

    Log into the site daily.
Record EVERYTHING that goes into your tummy.
Follow MFP's calorie deficit. Drink plenty of water.
Don't cheat -- you may look good on paper, but you're just hurting yourself if you're not brutally honest.
Expect to hit plateaus (no weight loss for several days or even a couple of weeks).
Don't allow these plateaus to discourage you; be stubborn & stick with it.
Record your weight weekly and adjust your calorie budget accordingly.
Don't beat yourself up if you go over your budget -- tomorrow, you can do better.
Remember: There are NO forbidden foods, just maintain portion control.
    Good luck.

Most of this is good advice (several days of not losing isn’t a plateau though, just a stall). I will also add that you’ll want to lift heavy so you aren’t losing muscle (at your weight now it’s easier not to, but it will help as you get closer to your goal). You can take a look at programs here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you

Carefully read the sticky posts in the Diet and Getting Started forums. That's most of what you need to know for weight loss.

How many days a week will you be going to the gym?
