there are ppl who use my gym in the mornings just to use the shower
there are 2 private bathrooms with showers
everyday this one guy comes in to take a shower and leaves
it pisses me off because ive never seen him workout
but its just one bathroom taken so whatever
but today two people came in to the gym to only use the shower!
and then that guy came in and waited for a bathroom to open up
dont these ppl have like houses or apartments?
i put in a good workout before showering and going to work
i allot myself plenty of time so thats not an issue, it just pisses me off though
gym is for hitting it hard! and there is an added convenience of showering there also
its not a hotel or your house
do i have the right to complain to a manager?

Simple answer - no. You don't have the right to complain about it.
Longer answer - They pay the membership and can use the gym's showers even if they don't workout. Also, you should learn to worry and focus more on your self rather than on what others are doing or not doing. You are not the gym overlord whose job is to ensure every person does as you want them to.0 -

Maybe they are members of the gym and they are renovating their bathroom with the only shower or something... why does it matter? Are they vandalizing it? Making a mess? Taking too long?0

True Story:
When I was dating my ex husband he lived across town from me. He had mulitple male roommates. They were pigs. When I would spend the night on a worknight I would get up in the morning and go to my gym (which was near my office) to shower and do my morning routine rather than use his community bathroom or drive all the way back home. I would then go to the gym and use the shower AGAIN after my workout that evening.
They probably should have charged me more since I was using the showers twice some days.
Oh, and mind your own business. That's what I would have told any chick in the locker room giving me more than a second glance for showering and leaving in the morning without having worked out.0 -

i dont have to be at work at a certain time but why should i have to wait
because someone doesnt know to make sensical decisions in life?
i get my swole on and then hit the shower
if i dont workout that day then i shower at....... HOME *gasp*
who the hell do these ppl think they are coming from home to shower at a gym
its rude and a bunch of other things
i see other ppl at the gym who have to wait for a bathroom so they can get to work
i feel bad for them
one guy couldnt even shower, he had to change and leave0 -
When I found myself in a houseless situation, my pre-paid gym membership was a godsend!!! I didnt work out much, but I used their shower every day and sometimes twice a day for quite a few months until my house situation got better.0

My bathroom was under construction and I couldn't shower at home for two weeks because of all the repairs. I had a gym membership, and I showered there every day before work. Who cares. I'm paying my dues. Mind your own business.0 -

what do you pay a premium membership that others don't pay? perhaps you should ask for the special VIP bathroom they forgot to tell you about...
see what the management has to say about that...
