I don't have a lot of the sweaters I knitted for myself anymore. Most ended up being too big and I donated them to the local church charity. The only one left is this rather plain but extremely warm one:
It's currently about 3 sizes too large for me, but it's the first sweater I ever finished and I can't seem to part from it. Emotional sop that I am. I still love wrapping myself in it on cold winter days. That last layer of a gazillion layers.
I have several other projects I'm working on, but none are finished. I can't stand working with wool in the summer so knitting season only started again a couple of months ago. I should have a few more things to show in a couple of weeks.

There's a small hollow space inside them. It's not very big, but they'll easily hold a few rings, earrings, or even a small bracelet.
I saw in a different thread that you don't sell your work ( I think?) but if you did I'd be a buyer. These are so awesome! You're very talented!0 -

It's a pattern on Knitty, if you really want it. Super easy so long as you have stitch markers to help you keep track. 0 -

I am fully equipped in this regard. I just can't follow knitting instructions in English to save my life. Learned with instructions all in German. I'm pretty good at recreating patterns even if I don't have the instructions. 1 -

Do you make money off of them if not you should !
Thanks! And no, a lot of people don't want to pay the prices most of us would have to charge for the work that goes into these. I mostly do it for relaxation and to make things for people I care about.
I've considered writing down patterns and selling the instructions to those, though. That's where most of the money is, lol.1 -

Sometimes. I like to follow other patterns (because there are some AMAZING patterns out there), but I also like to make charts for my own. Specifically with intarsia or double stranded knitting. Tedious, but somehow satisfying. 1 -

I admire your skills both at illustration and knitting...I wonder what other talents you may have!!
I love that multi coloured sweater, and the table cloth is beautiful.
I like knitted things that are "holey" I think they are really pretty. All my favourite sweaters are "holey".0 -

Lace patterning. It does make for a much more interesting sweater or cardigan, I agree. Can be a pain in the butt to knit if you don't keep track of the repeats, though. Still, way more interesting to knit than straight knit/purl.

Again, it can get tedious, though. That's usually why I'm working on multiple things at once.

I am resurrecting this thread with... a doily. My poinsettia plant needed some pizazz, so I took a break from one project to crochet this up in an afternoon.

I love all your work. My grandma tried teaching me but I didn't care much for it. She's gone now but I wished I had learned this from her.1 -

I learned from my grandma (also gone now) and my step-mom. Someone had to carry on her ability since no one else in our family picked it up, lol.1 -
I’m making slouchy hats. Pretty simple. That’s me. In the green. Not the model in the beard lol.
Next up I’m going to make the bears/hat combo.

I wouldn't call myself crafty, but I made these cages out of plastic tubing in my garden, bars across can be adjusted to allow for where the flowers and such come up to make it easy to support the plants.

I have a business transferring recipes to plates. It's been a great way for me to work from home and have the flexibility to be with my kids.
