I can't have prune juice atm. I'm on a very restrictive diet to shrink my liver.
I'm drinking senna, it's not helping. Too many pain killers, very little fat and fibre.
Wonder if you can buy colonoscopy prep on the internet
Just a thought.....sugar free gummy bears?
Too high carb, have to stick to 50g carbs a day. I actually have loads of sugar free sweets in that have that side effect but can't have them.

Creatine? I wasn't aware it could help. I have some in as well. Monohydrate.
For many people, Creatine will run through you like dysentery. Minus the pain and cramping(IME)
If I deload for a couple weeks, coming back on creatine turns me into a firehose about 30-45 minutes after dosing. Lasts 2-3 weeks at most before my body adapts.1 -

That's supposed to be painful.
As painful as bad constipation?
Several years ago I ate an entire box of sugarfree candy because I didn't know about the potential side effects. It was one of the most miserable nights of my entire life, easily some of the worst pain I've ever had. I was seriously worried that my intestines were going to rupture or something . . . Constipation just doesn't compare (at least not any I've ever had).
Never again.
How does it compare to eating a ghost pepper?
I thought I was on the aliens movie and a head was about to claw its way from my belly.1 -

Okay, I've actually done this too! It was intense, but the gummy bears were worse.0 -

LOL, thanks. Funny thing is I'd do the ghost peppers again, as long as I had a bit of yoghurt a couple hours before to prep my GI tract.
The secret to Hot peppers is Sweet tea.1 -
When I mentioned volume it’s not calories. On VLCD there just isn’t enough STUFF (medical term) in there to keep the colon moving along.
If it’s been five days there might be a tough little plug in there that if extreme cleanse methods are used, could rip up some important structures on the way out.
That’s why I suggest it’s time to bring in the experts.4 -
I had a fun 3 days with Ducolax and Pico Salax. That *kitten* works. I was clean as a whistle for my colonoscopy.1

I feel I need your prayers, thank you
Five nights, still zip.
Save your cash people. Cleanses are crap
I thought that was the whole point2 -

That scene was based on the writer's experience with Crohn's disease. Yes diarrhea can be extremely painful.1 -
Don’t know how but ended up back here again to read more.4

Ok, I am not sure how well this works on adults. It is similar to what was used on my son when he was young. It worked well, as did gently stroking from the waist to the bottom of the spine with both hands.
The positive is, no harm in trying as it is none intrusive.
(ETA: of course this statement may not apply, not sure of your tumour placement)

(Sorry this was the closest video I could find for the methodology, it's a bit annoying)1 -
Thanks @middlehaitch but I can't touch my stomach due to the growth.
Well last night I tried the colon cleanse and this morning tried the creatine. And I'm not *kitten* ing you, there is still nothing
Going to try the same again until I can see the Doc Monday.0 -
Do you feel overfull when you eat? Any nausea? Heck, if it was me I'd stick to water until Monday.0

After eating only 750-850 calories a day for weeks I don't feel full. Far from it.
No, I don't feel nauseous at all. I think the pain killers are hiding most of the problems. I just know it's been 6 days now and the thought of the food rotting away in there isn't the happiest thought
Oops, just noticed that *kitten* ting escsped the kitten filter1 -
It impacts and gets harder like little nuggets. It can become a blockage. This is why I'm worried about more being added on top because it can make it much worse.0
-
have you considered a suppository? is that allowed?0

Opioid painkillers can cause that issue (has that already been covered?) Miralax works the best of anything I've tried, if magnesium citrate doesn't do the trick.1 -

I would most definitely try this. 6 days is a long time, a suppository will at least get whats down the bottom end out.0 -
Taco Bell is the universal constipation killer2
-
The constipation by itself isn't necessarily that concerning, but check this page, and watch for these other symptoms:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/intestinal-obstruction/symptoms-causes/syc-20351460
It's not at all uncommon for IBS-C sufferers to go longer than you have, including myself. A Gastroenterologist recommended an osmotic laxative (Miralax type), but be aware that nothing you take will mix water back in after its been removed.1 -
When my father was on incredibly large doses of painkillers for end stage prostate cancer, he had this same issue. Senna, etc were not working and he was incredibly uncomfortable.
His hospice nurse recommended a “Brown Cow”, which I thought was her own creation until a google search. Apparently it’s an old school remedy - it worked, with epic results...
Equal parts Milk of Magnesia and Prune Juice, warmed up, drunk quickly. Our version had apple sauce mixed in as well, but I don’t see that in any of the recipes online.
To paraphrase Lock, Stock “ It was emotional”. Be forewarned.2 -
Question: are you a mathematician? If so, you could try working it out with a pencil. I saw it on the internet.
Just kidding. This salty old man I used to work with told me.
And don't try it. It's terribly dangerous.1 -
TMI but I'm doing a good impression of a rabbit

Can you do liquid glycerin? I remember that being on the list when I was pregnant. It's an experience but it works.1
