I joined here for motivation, too but I couldn't get motivated and lose any weight yet. Motivation comes from within I guess

    Yes that is true!

Thank you. Very true indeed. It helps being motivated from others too, especially at the gym.

    Hellooo

I was thinking the same thing. ;-) Anyhow welcome and like it has been said YOU are the true motivator to get to your goals.

What are your goals? How tall are you? have you bought a food scale? Input your stats into the MFP goal and set it to what you think you can accomplish 1-2lbs a week. then log all your foods and keep within the calories given. The one thing I like about MFP is that their food database is much larger. I rarely find or scan something that is not found.

Thank you for welcoming me! I’m 5’11 and my weight is around 199lbs. I work out a lot and I bought a food scale. I started logging in in all my food intake and it is helping a lot. My goal is to get to 210 in a few weeks but at the same time loose fat.

You put that under my thread and some other women's but not this guy's thread. I am suspecting gender discrimination

I am 5'10" and 212lbs and I am trying to get down to 170-180lbs. I know it will take some time to reverse 25 years of neglect.

So it sounds like you are trying to bulk up your weight. Are you doing strength training?
