You snow shovelers are a strange, strange bunch. You are all welcome to come over and shovel my driveway.

LOL Mine is also available for anyone that is looking for some shoveling fun. Our driveway is a little over 1/2 mile long.

Pretty much all of my exercise is recreational based except for lifting. Cycling, rock climbing, hiking, skiing...my cycling can become "work" if I'm training for something, but that's pretty temporary a couple times per year...

I tend to think of all of those things as both recreation and exercise.

blech to shoveling.. thankfully I live on the *west* side of Buffalo and usually don't have to do this.

My favorite is hitting some hiking trails. Especially mountain areas. Gorgeous views and great air.

Also I used to take ballet as an adult. It was for fun but I quickly learned it was also a workout!

I was just about to post the same. I found a ballet channel on YouTube with fab barre and floor workouts. How did you log calories in your MFP diary?

I love snorkeling. Every “beach” vacation or cruise vacation we take, I end up losing weight despite the unlimited food and alcohol because I spend 16 hours a day swimming and photographing fish.

I love to travel, and don’t mind one bit if I’m walking on average 15km a day exploring. Was in Japan in November and walked 21km one day :)

Other than that I like mild hiking in the spring and summer, and live about 1hr away from some really nice mountain scenery.

Operating the snow blower. You don't really push it as much as follow, guide, and steer it but at the end of the row you need to swing it around and it is heavy. But we have not had very much snow this year. It's all south!!

See, mine is a single stage, which means you push the damn thing. Easier than shoveling, but a workout regardless. And we had a lot of snow this year.

Not may favourite. I like walking the dogs.

Ditto (if we're talking favorite). But I also love playing in the snow (when there's real snow), playing beach games (volleyball, team Frisbee, etc.), and competing against my BF in anything athletic (though he wins. every. time.).

You can enter it as Pilates since Barre is basically what the Pilates creator envisioned before the marketing people got involved.
