    Anyone want my opinion on this?

    Nope?

    Didn't think so.

    :)

    You could share your story about trying to find the right bra size after losing weight...

    I am down a couple of cup sizes, but I've got no complaints about that.

    Thanks Unlike my normal avatar, these are our babies.

    I've gone back and re-read this thread.

    A summary:
    • Multipe posts of women discussing correct sizing and the importance of fitting;
    • Throwaway comment about not wanting to lose cup size (no mention of attraciveness, to males or otherwise);
    • Dude comes in to reassure the ladies they don't need to worry about cup size, the dudes love the bewbs no matter what;
    • Dude gets butthurt when its pointed out that the discussion, even the specific comment, didn't have anything to do with wanting to be attractive to the fellas, calls feminism as an insult, and declares he will stay out of threads about "girl stuff" from now on, without realizing he comes off like a drunk who is being thrown out of a pub while threatening to take his business elsewhere (ie - good... that's actually the point...);

    did I get it all?

    Edit: Oh, and a side of "I can't be viewing women unequally, I married one and produced one!"

    Excellent synopsis. Though you forgot the bit about how anyone doing this for themselves is clearly selfish and doesn't care about what their partner finds attractive, or about being attractive to said partner.

    What the heck happened in here? Ignoring people you don't agree with makes them go away faster... J/S
    Oh her formula to getting the bra size is so simple wondering if I should measure myself now or wait til I lose more weight cause last time I was measured i wore a 38 J which is so embarrassing

    @GlorianasTears - If you're wearing the right bra size, NO ONE BUT YOU and maybe whoever is helping you get fitted and purchasing the bras will know your bra size.... because your boobs will look great. When I was losing, I tried to make sure I had at least one or two bras that fit right because it just feels better, looks better and is a great confidence boost when you're in a bra that is the right size.

    Oooh--Westies! So cute!

    Edited to add: Akin to "ooh--shiny things"--the perfection distraction when a thread goes awry.

    But seriously, thank you for not having an opinion for something that really isn't yours to have an opinion on... :smile:

    1) You're still 'throwing around' feminist as an insult. If you think that this "Sarcasm aside, men have no idea how women are erased as equals in standing as casually as this all the damned time and don't even realize when they're doing it." is not true, doesn't happen all the freaking time, just, wow.

    2) It was not just because you are male, and that it not all that was gotten from your post. Also got all the judgement and assumption along with it. Very clearly.

    3) Having a wife and daughter in no way guarantees someone sees women as equals.

    4) NOT HARMLESS

    5) Maybe stop referring to us as girls.

    This. This. Allllll this.

    Again, harmless comment that was taken way out of context because I am a guy. I stand by my original comment, and I had good intentions by encouraging weight loss and ignoring the fact your boobs might get smaller. I even showed this thread to my wife, and it's funny she threw the word "feminist" out before even reading the post where I claimed the same.

    I've learned my lesson not to post in girl-issue related threads in this community anymore. Continue on... lol.
