Too intimidated

You know that one insurance commercial - I'm taking their line from them and saying: "I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two!" I really believe that everyone feels intimidation (even the most seemingly confident among us), to a certain degree, some less, some more. Some are just better at hiding it. I feel it a lot. I feel intimidated by almost everyone. I, no matter how hard I try not to, always feel like I'm never good enough. I'm very shy and it's kind of debilitating some times and I very much hate it. I don't want to feel that way. So much so that I'm often reduced to tears! Something I have to work on every minute of every day. Just being completely honest here, mostly with myself.

We really are, all the same and just come to this forum for some fun and entertainment, trying to take some time away from life's daily grind and seriousness. I hate that intimidation should be a part of it!

I used to get that comment a lot from others. I don't really like it because it sounds like I am not appraochable and sounds like I am mean or an ahole. I hope that isn't the case.

I wouldn't say I'm intimidated by anyone. More just cautious of who I interact with because people suck.

I used to be easily intimidated; not so much anymore. Not that it doesn't happen, but I tend to get over it quickly. I've been told I'm intimidating, and I can never figure that out. Although it works in some situations - like when I have to get all managerial on my employees.
