Found the challenge for 2017 to be very motivational. While I am relatively close to my goal weight, those last few lbs are proving to be very stubborn and the holidays haven't helped.

    Usual weigh-in day is Saturday
Original starting weight (Jan 15/17): 206.8
    Challenge starting weight: 162.6
    Goal weight: 156.0
    Current weight 162.6

Happy to see other Returnees to the 52# in 52 weeks challenge. We know this is a REALISTIC goal but over the past two years I have learned that I had to keep focused every week.

Looking forward to my my first 2018 Weigh In on Thursday!

Finally got a few minutes, so I went back and read your 'successes' and 'challenges'. You all gave me a lot to think about. I'm confident revisiting this challenge throughout the week/year will help me keep my head in the game! Thanks for the inspiration!

About five years ago I had lost almost 60lbs with MFP and the supportive people on here. Unfortunately after a couple significant traumas in the last few years, my weight is at it's highest. Hoping this time I can make it stick (and am thankful for this new challenge!)

    Goal weight:180 for 2018 and 165 (eventually)
    Current weight:233.4

This week's challenges:Signing up for the challenge and recommitting to MFP

Several years ago I lost >40# using MFP. It was the only thing that ever worked for me. Mostly due to stress I went back to my drugs of choice, cookies and donuts. I want to get close to 200# for the first time since high school.
