Great job. My hubby was your size when younger (the starting size). He lifted 6 days a week for years and finally had gotten to a place he liked. In his head he sometimes still sees the "skinny kid" so that takes time to get past. Great job sticking to it.

had no problem with the way I looked back then now I still feel small and look back and can't even imagine being like that again. It amazes me that I probably getting around 2000-2500 calories at most (never tracked them before) and allways maintained the same weight but when I tried to gain weight it takes me 4000 which it took me over a year to find out.
  • Looking fine, you've done an amazing job of redefining your physique ... Well done B)

    Congratulations!

May I ask, how many calories above your calorie maintenance level is your daily intake now?

What's your work out routine and diet like? Good progress! I need to work on my back more so by my shoulder blades/scapular region?

We're very similar! I started around 2013-2014 and I was around 135-140 lbs. Currently I'm close to 180 lbs at 14-15% body fat. My goal is to be 180-185 lbs at sub 10% but I want to see how big I can get before I cut because I cut before and went back down to 160 lbs which looked good but too small for me.

I can barely take in 3,400 so I can't imagine trying to do 4,000. Why so high for Protein?

Barely take 3400? I only take in 2500 and I still gain, a slow 1 lb per month but still a gain. I couldn't imagine 3400 every day!

lol haha yea it's so much easier for me to lose weight than gain weight, I was always skinny although now that I'm 31 it's easier to put on the weight but still takes at least 3,000 a day but that's because I lift like 5 days a week, about 1-1.5 hr long work outs.

I get roughly 1000 cals from shakes which helps a lot as for the protein I was aiming for 1.5g per lb which is weoverkill but I'd rather be higher and getting over 4000 calories it's not that hard to get the protein in.

Pretty damned close to the same place where I started lifting (5’10”, 150), after spending some years cutting from my FFG level of 265. I’m a year and a half in, and up about 25 lbs. from my start. Our caloric stuff isn’t too different either.

Excellent work thus far. Keep at it, and know there’s at least one other person running the exact same tract.
