Do you pump your own?

Apparently Oregon just changed their laws so that gas stations will not be full serve any longer. The people are outraged:
So the question is: do you pump your own or do you like someone else to do it for you?

Oh believe me, you always pay.... always.0 -
There's very few places that pump for you where I live and I never go to those places. When I went to Jersey it weirded me out that I wasn't allowed to pump my own.

I rather enjoy pumping my own, I mean I like others to pump for me as well, but sometimes you just gotta take care of things yourself9

Jersey has the same affect on me.
Jersey has the same affect on everybody.3 -
At least twice a week.1

Everyone pumps their own in Switzerland. I can't even think of anywhere I have been in Europe where someone puts petrol in your car for you. From memory it only happened when I lived in the USA.0

If they're THAT old that they can't get out of their cars, then maybe, just maybe, they shouldn't be driving.14 -
I don't mind pumping. I also kind of like the way it smells.3

How do you pump yours from jail, is it any different?1 -
People in every other state except New Jersey and Oregon have pumped their own gas for years, without exploding. Usually there are signs that provide directions on how disabled folks can get help pumping if needed, so no ADA violations.
I can't say I enjoy pumping my own gas, but I've had to do it for almost 40 years, so I'm used to it. I don't even know of any stations around here where an attendant will pump your gas for you.0 -
Where I live, there hasn't been a gas station that wasn't self-serve only in more than 20 years. I've also never encountered one while traveling. I was really shocked to learn from a NJ relative that there were still places where having an attendant pump for you was still an option.1

and I thought you meant breast milk..............................2

I have always pumped my own gas but I admit that in the winter time, when it's brutal cold, I will go to a full service station and pay more per gallon so I don't have to do it. lol0

A lawsuit for what?
For no one to pump there gas
There are a number of things that the frail elderly can't do for themselves. Gas station owners aren't under any obligation to do it for them. That's what caretakers are for.2 -
I went to college in a small town that still had ONE full-service station. The gas there was noticeably more expensive, but all the older ladies in their Cadillacs and Buicks went there. It was kind of cute.
But yes, I've always pumped my own gas.

They provide gloves where you are?0 -
I live in NJ where they pump it for us just like in Oregon -- and the gas is cheaper in our state than the neighboring states.... figure that one out!0
