Just started the Keto diet and looking for some motivation and support since im dying without carbs and sugar!

    Is there a medical reason for a very low carb diet? Because ALL weight loss is calorie deficit. Maybe try something more suited to the way you normally eat. That way your learn how to lose, and how to maintain at the same time.

    Hi there! I’m on the LCHF (low carb high fat diet) as well. It’s been about two weeks now. The cravings aren’t as bad as when I first started. They tend to sneak up on me though, particularly when something stresses me out. But when that happens I remind myself of how much sugar makes me ill and kills my state of Ketosis. We don’t want that.

    I just finished day 3 of keto. I haven't really had huge sugar cravings yet. Today, I felt a mild twinge and had a few blackberries. They worked. I started drinking mineral water. The bubbles seem to help control cravings.

    People can lose weight fine whilst eating carbs.

    People can lose weight fine whilst eating carbs.
    For each their own :) different people find different ways of eating easier to stick to or easier to loose weight from. Some people finds easier not to eat carbs, others eat vegetarian on vegan, even others can drastically lower kcal till they get to the weight they want.

    For me simply counting food did not work and I usually went overboard after a few months or weeks and seeing not much results.
