Well I love eggs, so much to do with them. Best protein grab out there, only problem is I have to start taking out some yolk that killing my high carb diet.
Who else likes them eggs.

I keep chickens and their eggs are the absolute best. In a bit of a seasonal lull right now but man when they are laying, it's eggs all the time. Can't bring myself to buy supermarket eggs.4

The yolk is cholesterol, not carbohydrate. Enjoy in good science.9

i go through a carton of mix whites/yolk or so a day averaged out lol.1

Yes but the fat level is over powering my carb diet7 -

They are definitely a great source, people at work hate it lol, so I try to keep my eggs at home before work and make some kind of chicken chilli or rice fry with eggs and tuna. They don't *kitten* as much about tuna2 -

This confuses me. Are you focusing on maximizing carbohydrate intake while minimizing fat and protein? It's not necessarily wrong, it's just unusual that anyone posts comments without occupying the extremities of keto or vegan, with the occasional vegan keto unicorn.3 -

I may have made it hard for people to understand, probably why I barely made it out of high school lol
I am trying to run a high carb diet, with a good protein intake also, and less fat. Guess you can say it's keto kind of diet.5 -
huh....keto kind is nothing like high carb...that makes no sense...
i do high carb (279g at low and 379g at high) - if i want eggs i do 1 normal egg and bulk up with egg whites on high days (lower fat) and on higher fat days, i do more normal eggs1 -

Huh? That is almost literally the exact opposite of keto.3 -

I wasn't trying to do a keto diet, I am actually taking on my own diet. High carbs low fat, and protein, I have never looked up on keto diet, just figured by Barry saying is was somewhat like keto.
I stick with choosing a higher carb or fat, never have both the same protein stays the same.1 -
My diet right now run 50/20/30, so far down 9 lbs2

Macros aren't that important for weight loss, if that's your goal. As long as your calories are on target, you're getting recommended minimums on protein and fat, and you're reasonably satiated, the macro ratios can be anything you like.
Agonizing about the fat in egg yolks is majoring in the minors. Have an omelette and move on.9 -
You should be able to fit in yolks on that (I cannot throw away yolks, some use one with 2-3 whites). I'd leave off other sources of fat (butter, cheese, olive oil) to fit in the yolks personally, if it were an issue, although I know eggs with yolks aren't high protein.
That's not really high carb (although the macros seem fine).
If this is just a "fun to complain about stuff" post, I get it and appreciate it, and agree that eggs are great.2 -
I am betting OP regrets mentioning yolks at all now in a thread just meant to talk about how great eggs are.1

Eggs are such a staple of my daily diet that I couldn't imagine not eating them regardless of my macro split.2

Love eggs! Have 2 religiously each morning on toast and feeling great.2

I eat a ‘low’ fat diet but love scrambled
Eggs on toast, I usually use 2 eggs then
Add 200g of egg whites, makes a nice
High protein,carb meal with low fat1 -

Weightloss is down to calorie deficit, not macro split.3 -
There's no one on this earth that loves eggs more than I do. I have diversified my intake since then, but I was at one point eating 8-10 eggs per day.
Scrambled eggs are sooooooo tasty.2 -

You are my food twin. I go through 4-5 doz a week. I do separate them and eat mostly whites. That lets me eat more the fat in the yolks is a significant increase in cals.0 -
lol I feel bad for this OP. I don’t do a high carb diet so I don’t know the struggles, but I guess one of the biggest ones might be trying to explain that you do, in fact, want carbs1

Yes calories are important, you want to be burning off more calories in a day then you eat.
When eating carbs that help with insulin. Insulin increases you metabolism to burn more overall calories. Carbs when digested into your system turn into glycogen which is basically energy for your muscles.9 -

50 g carbs isn't really high carb, but those macros are reasonable and it's nice to see someone not scared of carbs. If you feel strongly about keeping those macros, you could look at cutting fat elsewhere to fit in more delicious egg yolks (or just eat more of the whites).
I love eggs, but the whites alone don't appeal to me, and throwing away perfectly good food makes me sad. I'd bulk up an omelet with the carton egg whites if I wanted to increase protein without increasing fat, however -- might be worth a try.3 -
What does eggs or tuna have to do with coworkers.....screw them and what they have to say about what you eat!
Unless your burning this stuff up in the microwave....thats just rude!0 -

It's a percentage 50%c and 20%f and 30%p, so every meal try to keep the percent within as within my calories.
Yes I don't want to throw out food, I would buy them cartons of whites.
