Here is this weeks chart. Sorry it took me so long to get it up. The weekend was a little busy. Lets set a goal this week.

Mine is to have a healthy breakfast every day...planning it out in advance. Today I had an egg on toast. Yummy!
What is your goal this week??

My goal for the week is to go at least half an hour of exercise in per day. I normally lack on Wednesdays and during the weekend.

    Hi all,

All- My goals are to log everything I eat and to exercise during the week consistently and get into a routine, and on the weekends I've been falling short to atleast do 30 minutes.

Got in a run during lunch at the gym's treadmill for 30 minutes. Feel pretty good afterwards. I think those past 2 weeks of eating junk food have got my brain feeling sluggish. I'm going to be adding raw veggie juices to my meals to get in those yummy vitamins. way to go everyone, and keep digging!

Goal for the week- NO STRESS EATING... eat, but eat healthy!

Randi, do you have a substitute for stress eating? I have always heard that you should replace habits with better ones, like walking, reading, something to keep you busy...

I am also going to work on getting junk food out of the house...shopping the perimeter of the store and as soon as the farmers markets start opening I am going to head over there.

Eating healthy sounds good to me!

Luckily, this time I don't have the stomach for any eating let alone stress eating... I am doing what I can right now and I'm doing pretty good.

I think the walking will help. Not only will I not be eating when I'm not hungry but the fresh air should help clear the mind.

Thanks for the thoughts Deb! You and another friend are a big part of me logging even when I don't feel like doing it.

    Hi all,

I have been reading your posts and love seeing how everyone is doing. The gym at work is small, but it's working out for me right now. I'll see if it gets crowded when the semester starts and students are here. Still feeling out of it and feeling very sluggish in the brain, I really need to get back to eating healthy and clean b/c my body is so sensitive that now I feel the difference. I made a yummy carrot and beet juice this morning on my juicer. I'm going to make another juice when I get home, to get some more yummy vitamins. Will also schedule a dr. appointment with physical, but they're so busy it will be like 3 months until I see them.

Today I did 30 minutes of elliptical trainer during lunch time and plan to go to sleep at a good time so I can do weights in the morning.

Keep pushing it everyone and great job on showing up each day!

    Morning Blues,

So last night I didn't end up getting my half an hour of exercise in because I ended up spend 3 hours at the hair dressers. I went a little before my mini goal but it was a good promotion and I was in dire need of a hair cut.

Sani, Friday weighins as of Friday--My goal is to get the new board up by Friday afternoon...

Randi--Keep up the great work! I am glad to be of any help!

maneyes, we deserve to pamper ourselves!

Mayra, best of luck with everything...you aren't pregnant are you? I always get foggy and sluggish and tired when I am.  Keep taking care of yourself. I am working on going back to the healthy foods again...and making my family a part of it too. I have realized that I need to feed my kids what I am eating. I am the food provider and so should plan meals and we all eat together. Then I won't get busy and forget that they could be hungry...:noway:

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hey all,
Sorry I've been around, but been busy doing more renovations at the house. Re-doing ANOTHER bathroom.
Everything is out of it, and finished taking the wallpaper off which pulled off alot of primered wall behind. So patching the 80-100 spots... grrrrrrr.
Should be done in the next week or so.
Trying to make good food choices, but haven't put in any exercising.

2 weekends ago I went up to a friends trailer. I didn't have one beer all weekend and drank water.
But the sweet goodies they had there, I could resist some pecan pie, and well a 2nd piece, and I think by the time I left I would have had 3 pieces.:blushing:

I really believe the motto. Out of sight, out of mind. I know I wouldn't go buy this stuff and eat it, but since it was there and was so gooey. well you know the rest.

Gee, peter, you are making me hungry!!

I believe in out of sight out of mind too. If something is sitting out on the counter I am much more likely to munch on it than look for something else! Time to keep the "healthy" foods in the line of vision!

Have a great day everyone! I am working on changing over files from computer to laptop and laptop to laptop. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have an official laptop that is all mine! HAHAHAHAH (evil laughter)

    Lets make healthy choices...

I thought about that after typing my message.
I was going to put in a disclaimer that I wasn't responsible for making anybody hungry.

    Hey all,

yesterday and today just walked. I'm on TOM and feel pregnant with all the bloating. To motivate myself I got a running belt with water bottles:

I'm already signed up for a 4M race in August, and am excited about that.

Here's to making good choices and to keeping positive!

    Weigh in Friday!

    July 1st- 195.5 (under 200!)
    July 7th- 197.8 (dumb 4th)
    July 16th- 187.8 (I made it to the 18Xs!!!)

Peter, home rennovations can be a lot of physical work, don't sell yourself short on the exercise you are getting out of it.

Deb, glad you finally have your new computer!

Mayra, at first glance I couldn't figure out what your water belt was... it looked like some funky bra til I realized it had water bottles in it... I feel really dumb now...but it does look very comfortable, as a belt not a bra!

Have a beautiful weekend, with no mindless snacking.

I thought it was a shame to start a new board with only one page on the last one, so here is our new chart!

Looks pretty good. Let's bring it this week. I am going to work on eating more fruits and vegies everyday. What are your plans?

sorry guys, I have not posted, didn't mean to, just busy doing chores at home so I can have these next two weeks free. I saw twilight on friday with my 2yrd old, while she finally went to sleep. Saturday it was church, and sunday went to a bbq birthday party for a 2 year old and played volleyball there. The girls asked me to join our church's volleyball team, but we'll see if I have time. Also sunday busy cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, house, and ironing clothes for like 2 hours. I've seriously not been keeping up with the workouts, but I've been walking each day or cleaning the house- I've been taking it down a notch b/c like I told you guys before I was feeling out of it mentally, so I've been drinking raw veggies juices in between meals and just taking it easy. I tend to get overwhelmed emotionally especially with changes, b/c I remember feeling like this when I first went away to college and being away from home. Maybe it's how my body copes with changes. Yesterday we also stopped at Whole foods and they have a Jamba juice and I got a large Fresh Juice of carrots and a shot of wheat grass....hehe.

I'm feeling better, and I'm being good to my body so that I can get back in it and lose the rest of the weight. I gained about 60 pounds while pregnant, lost about 38 recently, gained 8 of it back while waiting to hear from jobs. Now, thank God I have the job, I've lost 30lbs total, and I'm just being good to my body to lose the rest of the 30 pounds. This is really a journey here, and being good to our body is the most important thing.

I truly appreciate and love you all!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. I did great! No mindless eating, everything I ate was planned. I played at the park w/ Kati and my niece and nephew, we also walked there and back. great execerise and great foods makes for a healthy Randi! Hoping to keep it up through this week and see a good number on Friday!

Here's to a great week everyone!

Mayra, thanks for the advice. I actually post the chart as a picture. I was trying it from a different source. Obviously I need to look into it more. I am glad you are taking care of yourself.

Randi, I am glad you had a great weekend. I felt like I wasted yesterday. I need to remember that life is more than sitting at the computer or watching TV... :noway:

Its been a crazy week for me. My husband has been insisting that I am pregnant...because we weren't very careful :blushing: and he said he just knew. Come to find out, he is right...I think I was more upset that he was right... I guess he knows me pretty well after being married for 10 years. It is a month too early as I am supposed to have a test done the first of August to make sure I don't have any stray thyroid cancer cells in me, and I really wanted to be at a healthier weight this time. I guess I just need to make it work and be healthy now.

Wishing you all a great day!

    Hey all!

I'm happy to say that I FINALLY have a job!!! Started a couple weeks ago and so far, so good. I'm working on getting the internet hooked up at my apartment once I get some bills caught up, so I can get back to using this site regularly again. And I can finally afford REAL food! Goodbye ramen noodles!!!
