Thanks everyone. I have actually been logging better the last few days than I have before. Probably because that was my plan for when I got a laptop, but also because I am determined to make sure I am healthier this time. I don't want gestational diabetes again!

This will be number three for us. My youngest is 2 and 1/2. I don't plan on going anywhere yet.

Rach welcome back! I am so glad to hear you have a job. Good luck with it all!

I will have to look up the non stressing foods! I could use a few of those I think.

 No bus, walking! Sounds like a great plan Mayra!:drinker:

Rach congratulations on your future gym membership. :drinker:

Today I actually walked on the treadmill for a half hour. I have been totally off the bandwagon of exercise this week. But I am telling myself no excuses!

I am going to look into some vegetarian meals too as I think my family could use the extra nutrition:tongue: I think my hubby will not like it but that is too bad. I have come to realize that there is protein in plants--so I really ought to be eating more of them too!

    HAve a great day!

    Good morning everyone,
    Congrats Deb. That's awesome news.

Mayra - That's great! making new habits. Just that change everyday will make a difference

Rach - Glad to see things are going good, and congrats on the new job.

Last two day's I've gone for a jog/walk after work as it's been too hot during the day.(aft shift)
Monday I got a 4 min non stop jog followed by a 10 min non stop jog Woooo Hooo (longest non stop was 3 mins previously)

I'm back down to 190.0 yesterday and today (yah weigh every day ) - I need to see that 18x again. It's around the corner.

    Make good choices everyone!

Rach- the new job and now a gym membership! That should really kick your journey into gear. I know for me having a regular schedule helps immensely!

Mayra- walking has really helped me recently with clearing my head. It's good for body and mind!!

Peter- And here I thought you'd make it to the 18xs before me... I'm here and waiting for ya! But I'm not waiting long... , as for the weighing everyday, me too... I have tried a thousand times to make myself weigh once a week. But I'm not letting it get to me that I step on the scale everyday. I do it and that is that. What a charge I get everyday to see it even a tiny bit less... gives me motivation for the day. I'm sure that will change if and when I plateau but for now... everyday is OK!

Deb- you crack me up. Have fun with your new computer!!!

I ought to not log on with my old computer anymore. That was the problem this morning. When it takes 3 times as long I tend to get a little frustrated!

I just had a fantastic lunch! I took half an onion (chopped) four stalks of celery, chopped and a can of chicken. Mixed it together with a little miracle whip and then put a large scoop on a piece of bread. Topped with a slice of cheese and broiled it until cheese was melted and almost crispy. I had some tomato and pickles on the side! Sooo good. But then pickles really have been hitting the spot lately!

Going to see the doctor tomorrow morning to get some blood work. It's enough already..of feeling like this for 3 weeks...dizzy, vertigo, confused, disoriented.... I think this is a good decision to bring in some light into this. Then I'll be back at work afterwards...

The exercise for me today will be the walking home and going up and down the subway.

Even though I've been in Texas since last November, I haven't registered my car here or gotten my license switched or anything. I'm looking into it now and I can't believe all the money I'm going to have to spend!! After inspection, title, registration, a 'new resident' fee, and my license.....it's gonna cost me over $200. :noway: Ugh. So frustrating when I'm still trying to get caught up on bills from being out of work for 3 months. We can't even afford things like a bed!! Guess the gym membership is going to have to wait. Sigh.

Go Randi, Go Randi, Go Randi. :drinker: :drinker: Wooo Hoooo 50 lbs, congrats...

Wow, if I could lose 8+ lbs in a week then I'd be able to keep up with you. Awesome work.:flowerforyou:

I can't wait until this weekend is over with. The bathroom should be finished. It's painted and now it's putting it all back together, Toilet, vanity, sink, lights, switch, mirror, toilet paper and towel holders.

I hate not having a bathroom on the first floor.

    Have a great weekend.

It sure is hard to go without a first floor bathroom when you are used to one. We remodeled our entire house before we moved and it wasn't fun, especially when it took over a year to get one bathroom done. Luckily my husband brought his crews in when we did the rest of the house, it went so much faster then!

Good luck finishing it all Peter. It will be worth it once it is done!

    Randi you are doing awesome!

Mayra. Take care of yourself! It is good you have backed off and slowed down already. You are amazing and I know you can get through anything!

We had to take down our pool a month ago as my husband is putting in cement. We thought it would be 3 weeks. Hah, we have had everything go wrong possible. I want my pool back up! I really have missed it, and if we had the extra cash laying around I would put in a real one. Even though I don't know how to really swim, yet! Unfortunately no one has wanted to donate to the "I want a pool in my backyard fund" yet. Who knew that I would miss having a 15' x 42" pool in my back yard...:noway:

Have a great one! Don't forget to weigh in if you have not already! I am working on the new chart!
